Mysterious Ways, an adult psychological visual novel from Mysterious Ways, uses Ren'Py and a 2D CG art style. You play a male protagonist named Anon, a man whose daily routine of watching a woman on the same road breaks when she no longer looks back. His fixation pulls him toward a forest where unnatural forces and buried secrets shape what follows, and where desire, dominance, fear, and control blur as fantasy and reality begin to dissolve. The game uses a branching narrative and point-and-click exploration, offering an investigation route with clues, fragmented memories, and symbolic horror, plus a confrontation route driven by shifting power dynamics.
The current build is v0.2, released on February 14, 2026, and it is a teaser, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest update added grammar fixes and new scenes. A future update is planned to conclude both narrative paths, expand interactions and exploration, and merge the routes into a unified prologue.
