About One of Us
One of Us is a 2D adventure RPG by PrvyPxls, made with the RPGM engine. You play as Misty, a woman who has lived a quiet, ordinary life in a small town. When her parents vanish without explanation, she is pulled into a darker side of the world hidden beneath everyday streets. As she uncovers what happened to them, she also learns that the place she grew up is full of sordid secrets and strange mysteries. The game uses 2D CG artwork and presents a fantasy story with a female protagonist.
The current build is version 0.1, released on May 28, 2024. It is a free version containing Chapter 1, so development is ongoing rather than finished. The latest update added Chapter 1 as a free version. One of Us runs on Windows, is available in English, and is uncensored.
Developer's description
This game is about Misty who has lived a quaint and uneventful life in what she has always assumed is an ordinary, small town but after the mysterious disappearance of her parents, she finds herself dragged into the dark and immoral shadows of the world that lurks behind every corner. The more she discovers about her parents' fate, the more she also learns that the world she grew up in is much more sordid and filled with mysteries than she could have ever predicted.
