One Shot is an adult point-and-click visual novel made by CoeurDeCochon in Ren'Py, using 3DCG rendered scenes. It follows Jason, a twenty-two-year-old living with his mother, earning small amounts through odd jobs, and playing many video games. The story is set three years before JASON, Coming of age, and each episode works like a short, separate tale with its own heroine, blending humor and parody while asking what drives Jason’s sudden gaming urge.
The current build is Episode 2, dated November 21, 2024, and the project remains in episodic development. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English and French, and is uncensored. The Episode 2 update, The Little Mermaid, places Jason on a sailboat, where heat, music, and glances build around his interest in a mysterious blonde, offering thirty-five minutes of gameplay. Episode 1 previously added 200 rendered scenes, fifteen minutes of gameplay, and four music tracks.

Jason is a 22-year-old boy who still lives with his mother. He hasn't quite entered the workforce yet, but he does odd jobs here and there to make a little pocket money. His current passion is video games. He loves them all and for the past few days, he's been playing them one after the other. But what's causing Jason to suddenly have this urge to play? This mini game takes place 3 years before the adventures of " JASON, Coming of age " Play ONE SHOT like you'd watch an episode of Black Miror. Each episode has its own little story and its own heroine. Spoiler This game is intended for an informed audience. It contains adult language, nudity, and sex. If this is not what you are into, and you are easily shocked or offended, then you might be better off continuing on your merry way without learning Jason’s secret..
