About Parallax
Parallax is an adult Ren'Py visual novel by Big P, set in a near future where large defence contractors shape conflicts through deniable operations and quiet rooms. You play a soldier working for Aegis, the biggest contractor, at first focused on doing the job without asking who really gives the orders. The game uses animated 3D rendered art and presents harem, romance, and humor themes.
The current build is v0.2, released on August 28, 2026, and development appears ongoing. It is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux in English, with no censorship. The latest update added Episode 2: Riding the Tiger, including more than 300 renders, over 9,000 words, five animations, and one adult scene, building on the initial zone release from v0.1.

You're a soldier for the largest defence contractor there is, Aegis. Never asking to be anything more, never questioning the why. Everyone has a theory about who's really giving the orders. Some say the contractors have simply outgrown the states that licensed them. Some say wars are being run to force annual revenue growth. Some say there's a name for the people at the top, a big club that you aren't part of. They say you only ever hate someone due to a lack of understanding, but what gives others the right to tell you right from wrong? It's about time you wake up.
