Two years ago, dungeons began appearing. Upon a dungeon's inception, some people are dragged in at random. Survival rates are brutally low. Those who do make it out often have changed. Beyond the trauma, they come back stronger because killing monsters inside dungeons grants power. Spoiler And yet, some gain something even greater. They are called Awakeners . With the help of magical artifacts found within dungeons, they unlock supernatural skills and abilities. But even among Awakeners, your situation is clearly out of the ordinary. While many report a purple status screen that quantifies their abilities, nobody ever mentioned it can turn black...
