Powder of Depravity

"What are you doing reviewing an abandoned game that's been forgotten by everyone?" Well, i stumbled upon it and i checked it out. A lot of games have a strong start but get abandoned soon after. Every now and again you will find interesting stuff in those abandoned early versions. Alas, this is NOT the case here. It is poorly tied together HTML sandbox with lots of grinding and complete lack of direction. Don't bother with it.

v0.1.5 Well, it is basically linear game with a lot of walking and grinding in between story segments. There is a lot of empty locations that don't do anything, they should just be removed and added back when dev will actually use them. Story can unfold in one way only, there is basically no decisions to be made. (there seems to be a plan for second route for one of male characters (just cucking him) that right now only has femboy route in which you also fuck his girlfriend.) No clue why you are trying to corrupt everyone. It's never properly explained. I found myself to be just skimming few last characters, because it was kinda boring. You can only take 2 actions per day that will progress your skills or increase money. Speaking of which, there is a lot of grind with max levels for 2 out of 3 skills requiring you to get 50 points each to max them, so that's 50 days of clicking to go to where you increase them (gym, library) and then there is grind to increase money which you will need quite a bit. At some point you will need to buy like 10 beer bottles to progress certain character, but you can only buy 1 bottle per shop visit. Each bottle is also 50$ (That's some expensive beer to sold at that price and in single bottle) and you get 10$ per shift at caffe, which you can only take 2 per day... It will eventually increase to 70$ per day or you can start shop quest line and get job that get you 80$ per shift, that is if you happen to figure it out by yourself. Now for bugs. You can trigger stuff that you are not meant to be able to do right now, like getting grace event in gym when you hit 5 strength or progressing step-sister quests without corrupting your boss at caffe. Oh yeah, sister can also steal your money when you have none of it and will make you go in the negative, luckily she just steals 1k.

I sadly have to completely agree with the person before me this isn´t even a beta build. A ton of places but literally nothing to do only 2 energy you can earn close to no money at all 40 a day (at least at the beginning) is nothing. This doesn´t even deserve a beta or demo tag. If it´s released than only to have people teast if it runs properly but definitely not to actually play it. the biggest dissapointment for me is the house. all rooms are there but they are literally nothing more but placeholders no random events at all no eating no showering no tv nothing.

This is not ready to be released in any way. I like HTML games, but this is just a GIF dispenser with generic "mechanics". You should not release a game in this early state. Build something presentable first. Construct a core gameplay loop. Focus on the mechanics if your English isn't up to speed. There are plenty of ways to make HTML games work. I don't want to discourage you, please see this as constructive criticism.

Pros: Cliche but I still like the idea UI is decent. Cons: English is a problem and I know the creator has addressed about poor english but he should really fix it soon if he wants more people to donate. There is no grind, it just goes straight from level one to level two. Just press a button and they are instantly at the next phase. Doesn't really give a sense of progress. The gifs are kinda bad imo. Dev just uses different stars for the same character and I understand that there is a limited amount of content that a single star can give, but come on, at least try to make them look similar. I mean look at the girlfriend, the profile pic is of an asian woman but during scenes it shows a few white woman mixed in. The amount of content is pretty low even for a new game. I finished it in about 10 mins in 0.2.

As of now, there is a lack of interesting content. The few plot scenes are mostly just a few lines between the gifs. The gifs shouldn't be the focus of the scenes and the text should be instead. Also, I understand English is not your first language but try to get a proofreader because I see a lot of avoidable mistakes. There are no bugs at least which is good though. Also, the characters don't have any development to them. It mostly just feels like you're clicking to just get from one gif to the next instead of corrupting them.

Great choice of actresses, easy mechanics, an average story and a good number porn scenes. maybe it a little bit tedious to earn money, but in the complex, it is a good and smooth game for fapping. If this game will be often updated, it could become a 5 star game. (Reviewing Version 0.02)

I disagree with the review stating that there should be a focus on writing instead of gifs. There's more than one way to make an HTML game, otherwise, they'd all be the same. If you're looking for a more cerebral text-based experience you might want to look elsewhere, there's plenty that do exactly that already, but if you prefer to just get to the dirty and get your rocks off to a corruption HTML game, the game achieves exactly what it sets off to do. There are things to be improved, but for a first build, this is excellent with plenty of potential. I will be awaiting more.
