About Program Apex

Program Apex is an adult science fiction visual novel by Visual Fox Games, built with Ren'Py. You play a protagonist pursuing a molecular manipulation device, but a mysterious girl from the future upsets his plans, questions his beliefs, and endangers the real purpose of his invention. The story combines a school setting with sandbox-style exploration. The presentation uses rendered visuals throughout.

Development is ongoing, and the current build is Chapter 1 Patch 2 of the Definitive Edition, dated October 15, 2024. It is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, and is uncensored. Supported languages are English, German, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. The latest update adds translations and adjusts dialog balloon layout for differing word lengths in the new languages.

Developer's description

Program Apex is a visual science fiction story that follows a protagonist determined to develop a device capable of manipulating molecules. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with a mysterious girl from the future, who challenges his beliefs and puts the true purpose of his invention at risk.
