About Pursuit of Mana

Pursuit of Mana is an RPGM adventure by Star's Dream, presented with 2D CG artwork. It follows newlyweds Reito and Feena in a small fantasy village. Reito works at the local ruler’s mansion and is falsely accused of a serious crime, so you play Feena, a former adventurer, as she tries to clear his name. She uncovers the truth, searches for the real culprit, and attempts to save her husband while a darker scheme emerges. The game includes sixteen scenes, seventeen base CG images, and multiple endings.

The current build is a modded version, not a final release, dated September 8, 2018, for Windows, with English edited machine translation and mosaic censorship. The MOD1 update adds an English translation to the original DLsite release, improves word wrapping and name boxes, shows thoughts and narration in italics, fixes typos, and unlocks the gallery from the start with a key item. Earlier changes fixed dialogue name display, corrected scenario errors, and resolved a game-over bug when Feena was defeated during certain boss fights.

In a quaint village, newlyweds Reito and Feena live a humble but blissful life. Their world shatters when Reito, working at the local ruler's mansion, is falsely accused of a heinous crime. How far will she go for her husband's sake? MOD1 Added the English Translation to the original version dated ( Sep/08/2018 ) on DLsite. Updated the plugin for automatic word-wrapping, dedicated name boxes and other quality of life features. The character's thoughts and narrations will be displayed in italic compared to dialogues and system messages. Fixed some typos in the original. Added an item that teleports you to the gallery room from the start. You'll find it in the key items. I also unlocked the gallery. 1.04 Fixed some instances where character names were not displaying correctly in dialogue. 1.03 Fixed a bug where the game would end in a Game Over if Feena was KO'd when winning certain boss battles. Corrected some typos and errors in parts of the scenario. 1.02 Corrected some skills that were mistakenly set as single-target instead of multi-target. Affected skill: Feena's [Flash] 1.01 Fixed an issue where the screen would remain black after losing certain boss battles. 1.0 Initial Release.
