About Quantum

Quantum is a Ren'Py visual novel by FsfStudio, presented with animated 3DCG art. You play a male protagonist raised in the countryside alongside his best friend, expecting a quiet future. Her sudden disappearance changes everything, and years later she begins reaching out through dreams, urging him to relocate to Echelon, a highly advanced cyber-city. The story blends sci-fi, fantasy, and romance as he searches for answers and considers whether to rebuild his life around finding her or starting anew.

The current build is v0.2, released on October 22, 2024, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. This update reworks the v0.1 story, adds about 270 images, one scene, over 1,500 lines of code, sound effects, and reduced file sizes. It also includes a new gallery and character bios, though the update notes them as unfinished. The earlier v0.1 release introduced the opening and covered Day 1 and Day 2 with more than 300 images.
