Reborn is a Ren'Py visual novel by Woundead, using 3D CG visuals and animated scenes. You play a young man taken in as a child by a future guardian after being found on the street. His new family has little money or status, yet he reaches an elite college for wealthy students. The story follows his choices as he tries to understand his past, survive among rich peers, and shape friendships or romance.
The current build is Act 3 v0.03.5, released January 22, 2024, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English and Russian, uncensored. The Act 3 release brought 10 animated scenes, more than 2,900 images, 140 polished animations, 43 sound effects, 31 music tracks, and hidden photo cards and a calendar. The v0.03.5 update fixed issues with calling Bill, Chloe hallway dialogue images, a gallery crash, and translations.
Developer's description
It's a story about a young man who is found on the street as a child by his future guardian. The new family is poor and lacks any status. But the protagonist still manages to get into an elite college for the rich (Yes, there are plenty of college stories, but you can never have enough of them). Due to the poverty of his guardians, he is forced to work his entire teenage years and doesn't attend school. So how did he manage to get in? That's what you'll find out in the game. Spoiler You will also have to find out why he ended up on the streets. What happened to his real parents and how he will be able to survive among the society of rich people who have never known what poverty is. Will he make friends? Love? Everything will depend only on the decisions you make.
