About Reconnected

Reconnected is a Ren'Py visual novel by KaiRaiken, presented with 2D CG and animated scenes. After war devastates the Solarian system, Earth's defeated species are sent into the Andromeda galaxy. Millennia later, former enemies have changed and chosen to reconnect, sharing cultures. That peace is shaken when diplomats and civilians are killed by an unknown attacker, pulling you into a furry, horror, and romance story. You play the male Solarian diplomat navigating Zenalyr, working with friends to investigate, protect loved ones, explore, and build relationships.

The current build is v4.1, released on May 2, 2026, with development ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, and is uncensored. This update adds Kezza, eight new songs, fourteen new CGs, three animated scenes, and fifty thousand new words. It also fixes typos and bugs from earlier builds. Because content was revised, older save files will not work with this version.

Developer's description

After war ravages the Solarian system, the defeated species of Earth are exiled to the Andromeda galaxy. Millennia later, the warring factions have evolved and forgiven, agreeing to reconnect with one another and share their cultures. Peace seems to be a fleeting promise when diplomats and civilians alike are mysteriously murdered at the hands of an unknown assailant. Terror and fear grips the city as the killer is on the prowl, and you find yourself locked in the middle of the investigation. Spoiler You play as the diplomat sent from the Solarian system, and have to fight to overcome the struggles and challenges of this strange new world with the help of your friends. Solve the case, protect the people you care about, explore the world, and fall in love through "Reconnected"! A one of a kind horror/mystery/romance visual novel. Always remember, Things on Zenalyr are Rarely What they Seem to Be.
