To get the bad stuff out of the way: the game is abandoned. The visuals are just on a whole other level. Attention to the details is perfect. Sound design - I've never really cared about the music in the game before. In this one, the visuals, the camera angles, the sound, they all create a truly immersive atmosphere. Special love to the siblings relations displayed, it was something. Plot looks ok, but mostly is irrelevant as the game was abandoned before it really went anywhere. 5/5

This game was on track to be an easy 5-star before I realized it was abandoned after 2 chapters. Great visuals, amazing use of music and score, MC is a normal guy and not an autistic sex pervert, the dialogue was mostly good....and then it's over I assume the developer couldn't keep up with the industry standard releases schedule of 1 chapter every 6-9 months and called it quits.

Red Lucy (Abandoned) Love makes people do curious things. As John, you figure out family love works in weird ways. Sadly, the game never finished - so consider this a demo of what could have been… STORY You are John, a young man living with his sister Kat and lovely grandpa. As you both just became 18, the world is open to your curiosity and curious you are. The game opens with the intimate affection between the brother and sister, claiming girls left John because he was too close with his sister. Sadly, your parents aren’t around to make sure things don’t escalate between John and Kat. Luckily there’s Rose, your aunt who acted as somewhat of a caretaker ever since you both were little. But since Rose has secrets of her own, she isn’t strong enough to stop your sister from claiming you. The whole thing gets messy as your sister has always wanted your attention. Meanwhile, since being a young pup John has always liked his neighbour Anna. At 31, she took to caring for John which now developed into him harboring sexual feelings for her. John became absurdly shy around Anna and she wonders what happened since they used to have such great chemistry together. The story is unique in it’s four people set-up, but the focus on pictures over engaging dialog takes away from the power of the story. That said, the story is enjoyable and as realistic as possible. It’s worth experiencing even if it will never finish. The game got abandoned before the bulk of the story was explained, but hints let you figure out in what direction the story would develop. Below the review, I’ll share my thoughts with obvious spoilers. PRESENTATION Red Lucy is gorgeous, no contest. From the graphical fidelity to the amount of renders and camera angles, this game is an A+ presentation. Nearly all of the characters look great and there are a ton of creative shots that show the skill of the developer. There’s a special role for the music in the game, which sounds beautifully through automated slideshows, which sadly take away some of the agency. Somehow though, Anna's 40-year old look seems like she has something going on in her face which was never resolved - resulting in Anna being less of an attractive woman than characters like Kat or Rose. We never learn why this is, while Anna is described as a eye striking and talented woman. The menus work well and while the dialog choices are a little on the small side, it ends up all working well because it’s molded into one overarching style. Also, the game does feature animations and intimate scenes are scattered around the game - making the game short, but fun. Red Lucy should be played for its graphics alone. The game is a masterclass in how to make things look beautiful and meaningful, playing with reflections and angles masterfully. It’s take on duality, even showing in the rendered shots where characters aren’t in it - is something to be admired, even if the game will never finish. GAMEPLAY The game is a standard Kinetic VN with choice paths. There are love paths for many women and a subtle dominance or submission path for one love interest. It never reaches full throttle before the game ends, however. Aside from the story, the game features extra galleries, collectible renders and replays which all look great - at least making full use of the assets presented within the game before its abandonment. OVERALL Red Lucy is gorgeous. While the story isn’t radically different from earlier games, there’s a magic to it that makes you curious where this game would have taken us. There is a setup for the story and the start of it comes to fruition, but since the developer didn’t get the support he needed to survive this adventure, he left for greener pastures. But not without leaving us with a glimpse of what could have been a nice adventure. I’m awarding this game a 6/10 because the story is willy incomplete, but it’s a must-play if you want to learn about beautiful graphics. Verdict: 7/10 Developer: LeFrench Spoiler: Thoughts on what the story was Synopsis: So eventually, the game hints at family drama being played out behind John and Kat’s backs. Adam, presumably the duo’s father - is still alive, unbeknownst to both of them. He’s seen chatting with both Rose and Anna individually, both women claiming they can’t keep their secret going any longer and at least John should be told the truth. Meanwhile, John gets playful with his sister Kat who doesn’t back down to sexualize her brother. If played that way, the whole thing gets out of hand while Kat says “she never liked any of John’s girlfriends for him.” An unhealthy possessiveness grows in Kat as she eventually goes down on John, making sure he knows she can satisfy him, sending the family into freefall. While the game sexualizes all women with suggestive camera angles, Rose eventually feels John is closing himself off from all women around him. She doesn’t trust this and investigates, eventually learning John is attracted to the sexy women around him. If John plays his cards right, Rose lets him have a little fun with her while restraining him from fucking her. John’s fantasy about Anna goes into overdrive, as one day, he meets her and they have a sexual interaction with Anna thinking it’s her husband. Anna doesn’t object once she finds out its John, but does figure their attraction might go further than ever before. She teases him into opening up, wearing revealing gym clothes and touching him frequently while helping him get his job done. While the story is far from complete, you eventually have an intimate encounter with Anna if you so choose - before the game reveals a bit more of the true story. It looks like Rose and Anna end up being sisters (instead of being so called ‘best friends’), with Kat being Rose’s daughter and John being Anna’s son. Yes, that would make this game go deep into family relation territory. Rose and Anna have trouble being in the same room together while they used to be very close, which all hints at something happening that they didn’t process yet. Adam seems to be the father of both children, effectively making Kat your half-sister.

Beautifully crafted game. The writing, story, music, renders, and animations are all well done. The main drawback to this game is the short roughly two hour gameplay. Just after the main characters get introduced and you have a couple of lewd scenes the content ends. The game rushes to the lewd content a bit too quickly for my tastes but it works. I greatly prefer more character development and buildup before the MC has sex with the LIs. Some of the animated sex scene renders are rather grainy and blurry for whatever reason. This mainly happens with the MC's sister. Great short game that ended way too soon! Sad that this got abandoned!

Red Lucy 0.9 This is a beautifully crafted avn. Renders are both incredibly gorgeous and sexy. The creators have a real knack for expressing a lot visually. The acoustic guitar music is simply a treat and really enhances the feeling of the different scenes. I couldn't stop listening to the covers after playing. The writing doesn't get in the way of itself and keeps things simple but effective in building the story. The actual plot isn't overly complicated but contains enough mystery to keep me really wanting to know more about what's going on with all these characters and their history. The pacing kept me enthralled the entire time and things tended to escalate quickly when it came to getting involved with the LIs. A lot of the animation pales in comparison to the level of artistry put into the other aspects of this avn which can be a little disappointing but is still good enough that it doesn't detract from the experience. The choices thus far are pretty basic ones that influence how much the LIs are into you (ie. which scenes/dialogue you see). It's nothing too deep yet and that's fine with me. Some choices are phrased too similarly to really show why there would be a difference and they can be a bit unintuitive at times but I generally didn't have a problem (at least no more so than 99% of other avns I've played). The one big issue (as many others have mentioned) seems to be that there's just not enough of the game done yet and development is incredibly slow. I truly hope this game does eventually get to be finished but I wouldn't be expecting that to happen for quite a while (even if it never does get finished I'll still be glad that I got to play what I did). In the meantime, I highly recommend anyone looking for a short but very enjoyable avn experience give this a try and decide how they feel about it themselves.

Excellent all around. Engaging story even tho it's nothing that new, but I never felt the need to skip any dialogue. I only skipped the dramatic "cut scenes" that dragged on a bit. The female models and renders are some of the best I've seen. Very high-quality work. The male model is kinda weird tho, like he doesn't fit in with the others. Maybe its because he looks a bit older than he is supposed too, idk. But it's not a deal breaker by any means. I hope it will get frequently updated. ez 10/10 for me

It’s a game that seems to have a lot of mystery surrounding the protagonist’s family and the women who orbit around him. I found the game technically perfect, but I think it has very little content for a VN that is already on chapter 9. I recommend downloading it because it’s good and quick to finish the content available so far.

i started playing this game seeing the overview. thought had some a better story however with luck of content and he roomie is a sister, fucking MC, then the Anty sucking .... Next the neighbor wants to fuck him too so where is the story leading too?. sorry Iam more interested in the story .. otherwise the retender & animation are great.

0.9 Version---I both love this VN but hate it at the same time. After seeing an almost 5 star review, I played the game and overall agree, it's about a 4. After playing the game, i read a page or two of the reviews and agree my likes and dislikes about it were pretty much on par with others. The renders and music are Fantastic, easily the best feature of this VN. All the women are REAL. Some are Knockouts and and one or two are actually more realistic in their imagery . Nice variation in body types and boob size. Sex Scenes would be next and ranks pretty high except for the fact that they're rather short. Animation is absolutely tops so I understand the great deal it would take to flesh out a full sex scene but it really seems like these are appetizers instead of full course meals. Just as you start to get into some of them, Nope...we're done. Just wish they'd be a little longer Choices are ........OK. I mean it's still kind of early in the game so I don't know how much some of these impact the story, my guess is not much....Most of it is standard fare, "Compliment or not" "Kiss her or not" etc, etc. The only one I seen that really has an impact so far is Where you look at one character near the end of of this version determines what kind of sex you have. At the bottom of this ranking is sound....as in, There is none. The music is glorious but like in the examples of the sex scenes, nothing.....no moans, grunts or anything..it's kinda like as a young boy, watching Cinemax Skinflix on mute late at night because your parents are asleep in the next room. Overall, a great VN marred but dick teases and not very much content for almost 2 years in Development. as one reviewer wrote down below, you might want to wait until version 2.0 or something.

The level of detail in the renders is amazing. The girls are stunning. The music is on another level: covers of classics done with acoustic guitar! The story is interesting and looks promising, it's a shame that the novel is a bit short, perhaps because it's still in the early chapters, and there seems to be a long wait for updates. There is no choice but to be patient and show support to the developer, this AVN could become a masterpiece.

Renders are simply breath-taking, as are the transitions. Acoustic guitar songs are familiar and comforting (maybe I'm getting old...). Writing is well executed. Highly recommended for everyone to try this.

Short summary: Fantastic renders and even some intriguing story, completely let down by rushing sex and character relationships. E.g. sister just randomly out of blue decides to suck you off at the very start of the game, without you doing anything for it. Same with aunt. So so stupid and ruins the game for me. Would have been a fantastic game if handled better. This is a great game, gorgeous models, no blue balls, interesting characters and story. Kat, the sister, is my favorite girl. Love her! I'm really looking forward to see how this game develops (played v0,9)

For me it's the renders and the music, both gorgeous and fantastic. Hopefully the quality of the writing can keep up. That's where it kinda loses a star for me, because there isn't much content yet but the build up is good. Come back in a couple of years I guess.

Honestly, I wrote this review like 20 minutes in and am giving it five stars purely based on the wonderful, perfect music. It's not just a porn game, it's literally relaxing and interesting to play, even if the whole taboo aspects of the plot are immediately in your face and could be a turn off for some. Still, the MC is witty and fun, the female leads are interesting and diverse in personality and looks... Honestly, great game. Too bad there's little content at the moment, but when it's finished I'd pay for it.

I love this VN. Characters with reals and different personality, renders georgeous, immersive story, soundtrack simple, just musical pieces covered on guitar, but which fit lovely the atmosphere . I particularly like Breakeven by The Script.

It's a fascinating project. Everything you need is in its place - immersion (thanks to a well-constructed plot), music that you don't want to turn off, excellent renders, decent animation. Characters you empathize with (that's the most important thing!). I will say right away - if you need only porn, this project is not for you. If you care about the story, character relationships, finally it's a game and on your choice depends a lot (I recommend you to save at every choice) - then this project should not be skipped in any case. Without the slightest doubt I give 5 points out of 5 possible and thank the developer (or developers) from the bottom of my heart for the delivered joy. I eagerly await the continuation of the story.

i just can say its an amazing game. renders looks very good, good story.and finaly a game who i dont need to mute the music. i realy enjoyed to play it. looking forward for the next update. good job and probs to the dev
