Rent(a)Boyfriend is a Ren'Py visual novel by LUNA, rendered in animated 3DCG style. You play a young man taking an unusual job as a rented boyfriend, moving through dates, everyday errands, money worries, and attempts to keep a stable life. The premise blends romance with unexpected events as the protagonist meets several girls and discovers what lies behind temporary promises and fake affection.

The current build is v0.1.3, released May 10, 2025, for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is uncensored and written in English. This update continues the story from the previous version, introduces new characters, develops existing ones, closes chapter one, and adds a 40-second animated scene. Choices matter, with each decision affecting how the story unfolds. Development continues.

As boring as everything may seem at first, soon our hero will find himself involved in a series of unexpected events.
