Revenge’s Resilience

v.2.3 A story as old as time, revenge. The plot is simple, and sometimes does things that don't make sense, but that's avn logic for ya, just like corn logic. Diction, and spelling errors are plenty. Enjoyed it had a fake happy ending lol. But the story feels flat. A tale told by an idiot, not full of sound nor fury. The animations are simple and feel like something premade and applied. The renders arent too bad. I'll probably try the next update to see if it's worth continuing. I don't use sound so i can't rate any of that.

The script is hard to digest. It reads like it may be AI written in a different language, then the plot is turned into bullet points, then those bullet points are poorly translated. The animations are uninspired, nothing special. Overall production quality feels like this was rushed and pushed out to make a quick 2 cents or so. Not recommended. Life is too short.

PROS: Models are fairly decent look, nothing spectacular, on par with the standard today. Renders are overall not bad. Story "idea" is good and fine, but put together by duct tape and chewing gum. CONS: Writing is the worst of it, its too unbelievable and too many things to reconcile that would never happen which makes this game/VN fail miserably. Typos galore, a bunch all over the place. Music is dull and there are no other sounds, ambient or otherwise. Another game with one choice boxes, why have the option if there is only one choices, sheesh!. FINAL REMARKS, OPINIONS & SUGGESTIONS: NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. Per cons, the biggest concern is the story plot holes, I will list the first few that immediately put me off this game. While the MC is innocent and so was his cellmate, (apparently), what are the odds 2 wrongly convicted guys end up together. OK so lets assume its possible, this is a small stretch but I will let it slide. Next up, the cellmate gets explosives to break out! right..., the MC is caught in the open and he somehow gets the explosives, while standing in the open not where it was planted even, he throws it to his buddy, who blows himself up and presumably the guards also...all while the guards have guns on them?! Like they could even do any of that to begin with. Now that the MC broke out and some guards are dead, he really is guilty of something big and should be locked up for at least 3rd degree murder... MC gets knocked out the prison door almost by a blast, and somehow survives, to end up being picked up by some woman who he knew once before, she doesn't call the cops (coz he orange jumpsuit is not a dead give away) and she does not think about the explosive that the martians could see from the nearby prison. Somehow can't put 2 and 2 together. Then the doesn't take him to the hospital or cops as mentioned, takes him to a friend who so happens to be a surgeon, does some plastic surgery on him, (which does not take long apparently...right) He is even bigger and bulkier after being toasted! WTF The MC wakes up after who knows how long only, seems nothing in between and he was in a coma until he was totally healed, in this woman house, with a brand new face and not a scar or a medical bill to show for it. So the MC hears a conversation with his "Savior" who apparently is part of some big conspiracy...loves him and some other crap, you telling me the inmate buddy and this chick and whoever else colluded to get the MC out of prison, by whatever means, even roasting the guards because she loves him and he is innocent? RIGHT? Wow what an imagination So now I say, COME THE FUCK ON WITH THIS BULLSHIT STORY. TLDR: I stopped playing once I got to the MC waking up with his new face and just shook my head at this drek and nonsense story, honestly what does the developer think? This story is suppose to be about revenge and intrigue as to how the MC got framed and how he builds himself up to find out who, why, what to do to get back at whoever. Sadly it never got out the door, it was blown to shit with the huge explosion and then some. Sigh... I rated this mostly average across the board, but there isnt enough to rate it accurately. That said, what is there is so bad, the story and plot I mean that the game automatically fails for me.
