About Reverse Isekai

Reverse Isekai is a Ren'Py visual novel by CorporateRonin, rendered with animated 3D CG artwork. After war ruins Ethernia, elves flee to Earth, and a school experiment brings human and non-human students together. You play a male student assigned to observe and report on how the female classmates adjust, while some carry trauma and others chase new chances, with deeper mysteries underneath.

The current build is v0.2.2, released July 5, 2026, and development continues. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English and is uncensored. This update centers on Riley and adds two new scenes for Emily. Riley’s story includes 421 images and 39 videos, while Emily’s new scenes contain 17 images and 7 videos. Sandbox players can access Emily’s scenes from the Romance menu after finishing her story; visual novel players see them after Riley’s story. The game now has music for most sections, though some moments remain silent.

Developer's description

The world of Ethernia was devastated by war, forcing its inhabitants, predominantly elves, to seek refuge on Earth as a last resort. As global leaders argue over how to handle the sudden arrival of another race, a unique experiment begins at a local school. There, one student joins a diverse group of human and non-human classmates to test whether elves can truly adapt to life among humanity. You will assume the role of a student tasked with observing and reporting on how the female students are coping with this sudden change. Some struggle with deep trauma, while others are determined to embrace the opportunities of this new world. Beneath it all, however, lie deeper mysteries waiting to be uncovered.

v0.2.2 This update , is focused on Riley but there's also 2 new scenes for Emily. For Sandbox players, you just have to get past the teacher intro and select Riley whenever possible. For visual novel players, you have to get past the teacher intro and Emily's story. Details: Riley's story so far has: 421 Images and 39 videos. Emily's new scenes has: 17 new images and 7 hot videos! For Sandbox players, Emily's new scenes can be found on "Romance" menu after you completed her story. And for Visual Novel players her scenes are after Riley's story (you can't miss it). About music. I included soundtracks for almost the entire game, though there are parts I chose to leave silent. As I added the music to the intro and Emily’s scenes so far, so good, but when I got to Riley’s scenes, I wasn’t very satisfied. I only didn’t delete everything because I promised twice that I’d add the music. All in all, I wasn’t very satisfied. I spent an entire day listening to and choosing the songs, only to end up with questionable results. There’s also the issue of copyright and credits, since I sourced them from various different websites, I keep wondering if I might run into problems in the future. That’s why I strongly believe that in version 0.3 I’ll remove all the songs. I swear I tried, guys, but I don’t think music is my strong suit, I always play these kind of games on mute, so I don’t have much experience with this =/ Sorry! v0.1 Initial Release
