About Salt and Gold
Salt and Gold is an HTML adventure by SG Dev, presented as an animated fantasy story. You play a male survivor who comes back three months after an expedition everyone assumed had killed him. He carries a fragment of Syrissia, an ancient goddess tied to desire, lust, and temptation. The game follows his search through a wreck and a changed artifact, while he tries to mend broken relationships and learn why he returned. Player choices, class, relationships, and rising corruption affect how he faces threats near Marrowgate.
The current version is 0.2, released July 31, 2026, and development appears ongoing rather than finished. It is a second release that changed many opening passages and added three new characters. The build includes content through the end of day 3. Earlier Chapter 1.1 introduced the prologue and the main city. The game runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, and it is uncensored.

You return from a doomed expedition three months after everyone believed you dead, carrying within your mind a fragment of Syrissia, the ancient goddess of desire, lust, and temptation. As you investigate the wreck and the mysterious artifact that changed you, you must rebuild relationships fractured by grief, uncover the truth behind your death and resurrection, and decide whether to resist Syrissia’s influence or embrace the power and forbidden desires she offers. Your choices, class, relationships, and growing corruption shape how you confront the dangers gathering around Marrowgate.
