Serena of the Corrupted Mines

This game is absolutely terrible and not worth playing... I completed the game within 4 hours yet that 4 hours felt like eternity (the in game time might have not been as accurate at tracking time). I "100%" the game so this is not just me giving the game a bad score just because I did not like it or something in the early parts of the game made me not finish it. I will detail in this review my thoughts as to why this game is 1 Star out of 5 or realistically 1 star out of 10. Performance/Bugs: Surprisingly enough aside from the one "bug" that I've encountered which prevented this game from launching due to some technical issues the dev made with regards to some RPGM stuff the game won't launch for some people (specially if you've played many RPGM games and the error will most likely happen). That made me fear that this game is a malware/virus (it is not according to the thread discussing the veracity of claims regarding infected files and according to the uploader) but was confirmed to be safe by the uploader. Other than that the game runs flawlessly, no crashes, no lag (I'm running a 10 year old PC), etc. CG Quality/Quantity: Don't know why this game is not tagged as AI CG but it definitely needs to be tagged as one. The game looks like it's not on a quick glance (I was fooled too just by looking at the OP pictures) but it is once you've played it long enough. There is decent amount of CGs with pretty "tame" types of kinks but the problem is that it is AI CG. There is a degree of "artificial-ness" when it comes to AI CG (specially in this one) it feels "soulless" It's like when appreciating some fine art but there is just something wrong that you can't fully appreciate it. Although that depends on the quality of the AI CG, some AI CG are pretty good that the CG is still "good" and appreciable for admiration but in this case it is not. At the end of the day beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and what each person defines as beautiful may vary (but don't be fooled that this game is not AI CG). Story/Game Setting: The story is classic Elf goes to the LUST dungeon and H scenes happen. The story is pretty linear 99.9% of the time, your choice does not matter for 99.9% of the time. There is no virgin run in this game, the game's story is linear for the majority of the game. It is pretty generic story, about average in terms of H game nukige (quick wank games) story. There are two (?) endings in this game Bad ending (which you'll likely get 99.9% of the time) and a good ending. Not sure if there is a true ending. I'll spoil the story now so that you don't waste your time on this generic slop Spoiler: Elf Slop Story HIGH ranking adventurer elf goes to solve some quest, goes into dungeon, dungeon exit gets blocked, she has to work with the miner survivors she was meant to rescue and go on a shit ton of fetch quests getting to point A to point B, kill this and that and at 80% of the game she encounters bandits in the cave. One of the bandits is a giga min maxxer that drunk a potion which made him HARD AS A ROCK (literally). Elf loses, gets fucked in the throat, escapes. Then fetch quests some herb to cancel the bandit's immunity. Herb Getto, bandit is kill. Final part of the game, there is a moment where the game warns you to save and that there will FINALLY BE CHOICES in this game which can affect the ending. The elf saves and fights the boss. She wins (good end condition not achieved for 99.9% of the players first playthrough), gets paralyzed by the salty boss(who in actuality is just 2nd in command) and gets fucked by 3 bandit henchmen. The bandits undergo post nut clarity and remembers their boss orders to kill the elf. They kill the elf and she dies with her slit throat (no graphic depiction so you're safe). The game describes the bad end and the bad end title shows in the screen with no way of knowing how to get the true end (aside from the dialogue stating that the elf waited for a savior that never came). LUCKILY, I did some optional town H scenes (not all since I was anticipating if this game had different endings based on lust/corruption but sadly this game does not have that. Can't expect SHIT from AI SLOP game). I did the lady inventor H scenes and she gave me an accessory which is decent (which is why I kept that H scene save instead of save reloading after viewing it). But that accessory may be the "BEST" when it comes to defensive type accessories, but with how the way the game is structured it's better to NUKE THE enemies ASAP rather than increase your def, so my main acc is the magic damage increase best in slot since that is the most optimal accessory for finishing this game. Then after viewing the bad ending I immediately realize what the game wants me to do to get the good ending (I already have the item required). I tried equipping the acc the lady inventor gave me and fought the final boss looking for changes. Same thing happened, salty boss paralyzed the elf, 3 henchmen fucked her, they were about to slit her throat but THIS TIME the acc saved the elf and she was rescued. By this point of time the game unlocks all the gallery and you can view the good ending. The 2nd in command boss after being salty (this happened before the bandit henchmen fucked the elf went after the boss to continue their plan (whatever that is). The boss and the 2nd in command was never heard from again (thank fuck the game was starting to drag with the way it is structured, but the story felt incomplete, I'm not sure if there is a true ending, I tried returning to that place where the boss fight happened but it won't let me). The elf then escaped with the villagers using the remaining dynamite that her rescuers (some of the villagers) found while rescuing her. The rest of the dynamite was stolen by the boss/ 2nd in command and IDK what the fuck happened to them since the game stopped giving a FUCK. GOOD ENDING. The elf and the villagers escaped the mining cave and the elf recalls all her hardships and tomfuckery and steels herself to move forward. That's all for the AI SLOP game story (FUCK I JUST WASTED 5-6 hours playing this game and writing this shit ass review). GAMEPLAY: Gameplay is pretty basic RPGM. Find the enemies weakness, use that magic attack to get bigger damage, use normal attack to conserve mana. THERE IS A Lot of filler mobs which can easily chase you down (they move slow but the path is narrow). You can't escape from battles. THE FUCKING ELF MOVES LIKE AN OLD GERIATIC FUCK. Fuck that part of the game is the worst it makes the pacing of the game so slow filled with tedious repetitive dungeons full of fetch quests and go to point A to point B, get this shit, kill that shit, after every dungeon part (It's one big cave but by dungeon I mean certain area parts of the game) there will be mandatory H scenes that are pretty mid. There is some type of upgrade system that's pretty basic. You obtain some materials (2 types of them) which either upgrade your weapon or armor when brought to the blacksmith. That mats plus gold = upgraded shit (minor stat boosts). Level system is pretty basic and average, learning skills at certain levels (element 1, element 2, element 3, element 1 but aoe, etc). Maxxing out at level 20 (by this point there is no more POINT IN COMBAT and run all the way till you finish the game if you want to waste your life playing this game). Game is quite "grindy" in a way that if you did not fight a decent number of enemies (I did fight each enemy sprite once) you will be underleveled and get REKT by the bosses. Max level of equipment that I've found so far is +9 (I've EXPLORED EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY) for armor and weapon. Best in slot accessory is the magic damage + 10 one (since you'll be spamming magic to kill the enemies ASAP). The best strat for this game is to buy a shit ton of potions and mow your way down to the area's boss. Spam magic to kill shit faster. H Elements/Corruption: The corruption is pretty gradual, from the elf being reluctant to her stop giving a fuck about getting fucked to loving it (classic H trope). By the time you reach lewdness lvl 55 you can get naked and according to some people in the comments this will help you avoid COMBAT 100% of the time (bosses not included) which I did not know since I was not about to try it when I lose 30 defense and magic defense by going naked and the enemies in here hit likes a truck. 2 H scenes in the town or so gets unlocked every time you complete a "dungeon" part of the game(when you return to the town). There is a decent pretty "tame" amount of kinks, nothing too extreme. Majority of which is with 1 people (95% of the H scenes). TLDR: GAME IS NOT WORTH PLAYING. SAVE YOUR TIME FOR SOMETHING BETTER. UNLOCK THE CG IF YOU FIND THE CG APPEALING. This game is a massive waste of time and is the prime DEFINITION OF AI SLOP H GAME.

Best way to play this game is through cheating. I used a save editor and edited a lot of files. Changed how much exp and gold enemies drop, changed max level cap, changed the MP cost to 1 lol. reduced the grind to nothing because even though the art is quite good but it's not really worth grinding that much.

This game sucks. The story is kinda meh; even Wattpad or Gacha kids write better stories than this slop. The grinding? Man, it’s so tedious even if you’re wearing the best gear—not to mention how boring the combat is. The movement is also sluggish; even my grandma can walk faster. And the ending? Whether it's the good or bad one, it’s just not worth it. Overall, this game is not worth the grind, the only good side about this game is ero scene, while the ero scene is also lacking/Too few

I'm not even sure what to say. Elves are hot, that's about the only nice thing to say of this game. But if I had to say more... Boring characters. No corruption. Slow combat. Slow movement. Bad UX. Few scenes.

I can easily compliment the artstyle and character design, it's well made and simple. The story, characters and gameplay are all pretty mediocre though. With the gameplay itself becoming tedious pretty quickly, so it's a small mercy that this game is pretty short. With only 3-4~ hours worth of gameplay. Overall a decent-ish enough game, so if it caught your eye, then give it a try. But keep your expectations somewhat lower.

Leveling is a bit tedious since to level up faster you have get 100 - 200 exp per enemy defeated and getting to these enemy becomes another task in itself in mid - later game. To level up more efficiently I'd say get stack up on heals and magic potion because in 2nd or 3rd or 4th Mine you will have to escort total of 2 individual who can heal you as well as attack the enemy. Make sure to bring as many potion as you can and get magic potion more than healing Normal healing potion - max 12 Normal magic potion - max 20 Greater healing - max 8 Greater magic - max 15 If your corruption is greater than 55 then remove the armour which insanely boosts you magic dmg output, thats why get more magic potion as the individuals can heal you. Make sure these guys HP doesnt get completely depleted otherwise healing potion wont work and you will have to solo the farming which is a heavy lose, also make sure to stack up before you these guys get into your party otherwise if you return to base to stack up then story will continue and they will depart from your party. I am saying all of this only because leveling up solo is somewhat tedious and waste of time. Other than this goated game, Art styles goated, the setting in which the game takes place is goated. This should get the recognition it deserves If you arnt going to play this game because of the reviews below then let me tell you something, knights will see magicians teleport over large distances and say "he cant afford a horse" I agree the movement is slow and leveling up is tedious but that doesnt mean you shouldnt try the game out.

Loved the game, simple gameplay and fight mechanics, Really Good Artstyle. Liked the heroine very much. (The walking speed is much slower which increases the time required for traversing same mines again and would be great to have options to skip some attack animations)

The game was quite fun despite the simple mechanics, the story is relatively good, but the best part is the art and animations, in this the game delivers what it promises. Of all the work I've seen so far by MarunomiKobo, this was the best overall.

Nice short RPGM game, which really deserve better rating. Yes, the story may be quite easy. But hey, it is a "hentai game", it does not need a story equal to the Skyrim and play time more then 10 hours to be enjoyable. And this have really good art, it is not so much grinding, and really nice "battle harassment" system. In short, game which i really enjoyed to play.

The game is a 2 out of 5. It had some potential. I like the character sprite, and art even if some is clearly AI assisted. But there's not much choice, or corruption and the gameplay is just multiple fetch quests strung together with the usual rpg multiple choice attack system. The most annoying thing about this game is how slow the character is and how many enemies there are to get in your way. The developer clearly wanted to waste the players time. And there's nothing about this game worth wasting that time. Just use the full save for elf porn and move on.

Combat gets annoying at some point. Animations and characters are good. The protagonist could be used and be made a series with. Would be a waste if the creator won't capitalize on them. The maps aren't bad, just the progression gets screwed by dealing with too many repetitive enemies. Needs work with combat. Story is just alright. Hopefully more customizations for future games with the armors if ever. More scenes with more models would be good for another game if ever. Party system seems basic, but not bad. The creator could make add more new characters in case or just simple NPCs that you could hire and ang could also have scenes with, etc. Quite a lot of potential. Optimization with the game's performance on my side as well, if it's my side then so be it. I hope it would be better for me if they create another game. Really would be a waste if they won't capitalize with the main character, they're simply great.

The combat is boring and the enemy weakness is shown under their health bar, stripping away any form of possible depth to the combat system. The protagonist moves far too slow even when dashing. The corruption is pretty much non-existent and the random groping the enemies sometimes does to you only serves to waste your time as it shows a single frame of harassment and then increases your lust (which you have to lower with the masturbation option in the game menu otherwise you take a ton of damage). The obnoxious screen flashing when the protagonist orgasms is a unnecessary and gets really annoying quickly. The endings were underwhelming and felt rushed, it felt as if the dev themselves wanted to be done with the game which I sympathise with as I was well and truly bored with it myself at this point.

Found this to be fairly fun, I liked the animated xray view and some of the scenes were well done. I would've liked the see an increase to speed and a little more addition to the storyline as the quests can be confusing at times but overall I enjoyed it.

Gotta say I was sceptical but it is quite fun. Gameplay: Movement could be faster but it's not bad. Combat is simple, every opponent has weakness you need to discover There are 2 types of opponents - the ones that can do "lewd combat" (at start it's just harrasment scene instead of combat and later it's just sex) PS. it's hard to say when the enemy will do lewd attack instead of combat at times it seems random and at times it seems to be % or lewdness dependent, turning my back at enemy with high lewd seed to make it occur more often) And second type which is purely combat. If it can think - it can fuck (excluding slimes from this rule) High enough lewedness and you can take off armor giving you not only the different reactions of denizens but also turning combat into fuckfest, you reach a goblin and it just fucks you. Still, purely combat monsters will remain purely combat. Lewds: Simple good looking and bit animated scenes with X-ray Each monster has it's own defeat scene - at start you mostly get like 5 caves of goblins so don't expect anything new until you're done with them After unlocking brothel you get recollection room Story: Nobody's gonna bore you with long lines of some ancient kingdom, simple, quick and easy to understand story Upon progressing story you unlock new scenes around town and some scenes appear in key areas in dungeons (you gotta do them to go forward) PC: Main protagonist is an elf so she behaves like elf, there is no corruption in this game so no moral degradation. Also an elf I could actually start to like despite her being a knife-ear 4 stars out of 5 cuz there could be some QoL added and it's not that rich in content

Not worth a download. The female mc moves too slow, combat is bland and boring, h scenes can only be viewed once while playing. Otherwise u have to use the gallery. The battle h scenes dissappear too fast. See the blow job scene with the goblin on the cover on the main thread here? When it happens, it lasts for maybe a second. So it's un-jerkable. As for the art, it looks ai that's been touched up. Overall the whole game is kinda just slop.
