Kujira Sister is a 2D RPG Maker game by 210Studio, made in Japan, with 2D CG art. You play Akane, now eighteen and nearing her high school graduation, whose romantic bond with her older brother has not moved forward. The school setting and daily life focus follow her as she goes to school, cooks breakfast, chats with her brother, spends time after school, or relaxes at home. Other characters include Ayumi, who seems to have found romance, and Kurumi, who stays emotionally distant, while Ayato worries about accepting Akane as a woman and appears to hide something.
The current build is v1.007, released April 26, 2023. It is not a demo, and the overview describes a slice-of-life game with no concrete ending because the central situation was resolved before play begins. It runs on Windows in English and contains some censorship.
Developer's description
Akane has finally reached the age of 18 and is about to graduate from high school. Despite this, her romantic relationship with her Onii-chan has yet to progress. There's a strange noise coming from the club room. It seems that Ayumi has found love while Kurumi remains her usual cold self. But what is Ayato worried about? How can he accept Akane as a woman? It appears that he's hiding something. Mysteries...sometimes they're not that important, at least not to Akane. As long as she can be with her Onii-chan, that's enough to make her happy. Spoiler: Gameplay The story revolves around Akane's daily activities, from going to school and cooking breakfast to chatting with onii-chan and hanging out after school, or simply lounging in the living room. As a cute little sister, there's not too much to do, and it's perfectly fine to do nothing at all. Let onii-chan take care of everything, and don't worry if you can't get everything done in game, because you'll eventually get it all. For Akane, just being able to be with onii-chan is like stopping time. There's no concrete ending to this game, as everything was resolved even before the game started.
