Shifting Stars is a Ren'Py kinetic novel from Story Machine Studios, presented with 3D rendered visuals and English-language adult romance with humor. The game is still in development, with version V0.4 released on August 19, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is written in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry adds Chapter 4, continuing the release path that began with the initial zone and later brought Chapter 3.

Developer's description

Leon Armstrong is a bio-mechanical engineer for a weapons defense company, Genesis Biotech. Growing up in a military family he is the first not to join the military, opting to focus on martial arts and bio-technology. He finds himself crossing unexpected paths with the enigmatic Danica Thoreson. Two seemingly different people drawn together and thrust into a corporate conspiracy. As they grow closer and their worldviews are challenged they must face a dangerous future. Are we destined by fate or is it truly free will that drives the future forward?
