Overall vote: 8 For context this is the second AV Sister game out of the 4 from the AV Sister series of Atelier Sakura that I've read and reviewing (the first one being Miki ) I'm gonna use the Miki game a LOT since is a direct comparison between the 2 (I've also put up a review on the Miki section if you wanna look it up there too) I'll say this first, almost everything that you can think of that makes an eroge good to read, all the specific aspects that makes it great, well, the Hanako game did all of those things BETTER than the Miki game As usual let's start bit by bit • This one HAS a plot! And a very good one imo! On this aspect it is miles ahead of the Miki game which to me "lacks" a real plot to be honest ... • Sex scenes were GREAT! Even the fake NTR pretend BS scene (which honestly irritates since I think it's a gimmick present in all the AV Sisters) was somehow good despite the lameness. When it comes to a game with great fap material I think AS really nailed it with this one ... • CGs were also excellent! Great art There was only one stain tarnishing this aspect however ... You know that she has a bob cut right? Well in most CGs she "magically" has longer hair than what she naturally has ... Honestly this "design choice" by AS, altering reality, is something I definitely disagree with ... • A great thumbs up for the characters, they were great and super well written (when it comes to Sakazaki I'll get to him for last) - Sopura is one of the best MC that the company has written! Honestly I was in awe given how many loser cucks AS wrote, it's super refreshing having this guy as MC - Hanako is also one of the best FEMC in this company history imo! I may need to also rank all the FEMC (which is different than ranking the games) at one point but as of today I'd say she's Top 5! - Kaneda which is NOT the same Kaneda as the Miki game (surprised and disappointed that AS would name them the same ... just why???) also played an excellent role to me. while I found him annoying at first I could say I'd grown fond of him as time passes while playing. - Sakazaki ... if you read my Miki review then you would know how insufferable I found him during that game ... During this game however I found him to be ... never thought I would say it but I thought he played a good role here ... I ALMOST wished that we'd seen more of him here And here I talk about a missed opportunity Spoiler: Read only after playing the Miki game we know that he was in debt during Miki ... then couldn't the writer made it so that the reason why he needed money during the Miki timeline was to be found during the events of THIS game? Honestly it feels to be random why he's present here otherwise, like AS didn't want to spend budget for another male character and decided to use him that had such a minor role during Miki Honestly yes this is one of the few AS games for which ALL of the major characters were GREAT • The endings were also great for me This had 2 abrupt endings which I thought were hilarious! Had a full career AV actress ending and a incest ending to which I thought were both really well written and really nice. while I did wished we could have an additional ending a Kaneda ending , when it comes to the endings it also gets an excellent mark for me. If I had known this in advance I would've saved this game for last in AV Sister series, I would be really surprised if the 2 Yuuki Rin games can top this one.
