Shut Up and Dance is a choice-driven Ren'Py game by Boring Games, using animated 3D visuals. You play a young man whose ordinary life collapses after a loved one dies in unclear circumstances. Comfortable housing, financial security, and school stop being available, so he quits studying and works to support his family through money and emotional strain. An unexpected job offer later appears, promising a better path, but whether it helps or harms depends on the decisions you make. The story carries adult themes including corruption and a harem structure.
The current build is Episode 1-11 v1.0 SE, released April 27, 2026. Development remains ongoing, not finished or a demo. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with English and Chinese language options, and it is uncensored. The listed changelog for the prior Episode 1-10 Chapter 2 update adds a Chinese translation, polished settings and interface elements, reworked animations, a gallery indicator, code improvements, and edits to earlier episodes. That update also includes content from Episode 1 through Episode 10 Chapter 2, with Sarah's solo route, Sarah's extra scene, and Carrie's special scene.
Developer's description
"Shut Up and Dance" is the story of a young man's life taking a turn for the worse and everything going downhill instantly. A beloved person dies under suspicious circumstances, and in the blink of an eye, the life you're used to is gone - a cozy home, not having to worry about money or food on the table, paying for your academic studies.
Your carefree life - everything gone in a heartbeat.
As it stands now, there seems no way out of this, so you leave school and start working to help your folks cope with the situation - financially and emotionally. Until out of the blue, our protagonist receives an exciting job offer from an unexpected quarter that promises to improve things.
But is it going to be a curse or a blessing? Well, that will be up to you as you call the shots and make the decisions.
