Rev @ Sinful Valley [v0.3.6] Art's fine, but I don't feel that earns any points here since it's somebody else's poser suite. Writing irritated the everloving crap out of me. MC shoulda been modeled with a fedora, a hipster beard and a soy latte instead of a hand. The writing voice for his viewpoint hurts my soul. The extremely subtle and not at all offputting political allegories were extremely subtle and not at all off-putting ( THIS IS SARCASM ). The fact that not one but three of the women the MC runs into run a gamut of 'Say Hi' > 'girl on knees' > 'girl gets preachy and offended when complimented for how nice her hair is' in that order and within about 12 hours of diegetic time is so hauntingly accurate to modern dating that my boner left and ran off to a gallery site without me. Porn was fine because Koikatsu made it fine, not for this work's merits. Here's an emergent gameplay tip: Hold Skip Dialog (ctrl in Ren'py) and never let go. If you can get through the work feeling less irritated than you would have felt by reading all the narration and dialog, you win. +1 bonus point if you get there by scene trawling, +2 bonus points if you get there by following the UI's linear handholding as it leads you by the nose through the unnecessary faux sandbox. Highest score can get themselves a beer or something. TLDR: When you finally model the mayor, please make him orange. I will revise the score up a star for helping me fill my bingo card.

Nice so far. Just need a polishing on the ui when it comes to different rooms or location. Additional there is a problem with amount of side quest in game there should be a few more than just 1 side mission in this particular level of the program.

TL-DR: This would be an average Koikatsu harem game if not for the fact that the Dev decided to include an unskippable mandatory Femdom scene where (one or both) girls literally step on you and make you lick their feet. Pros + nice looking models + animations are fluid + grammar is fine, haven't seen any mangled spelling or badly translated sentences that don't make sense. + feet lovers who are into Femdom are eating good Cons - the story is incredibly convoluted to allow for beta MC with slave LIs. - the character suffers from "beta protag" syndrome that we all know and love and lets the girls walk all over him. - unskippable Femdom scene that the game doesn't warn about. Sadly seeing the way it's shaping it'll probably be dead and abandoned in less than a year. The amount of players who want a harem of slave-girls that step on them in Femdom scenes is not large enough to sustain this game and most of them are already catred to by older games of this genre with higher production values. 2 stars for decent looking models and fluid animations. Good luck to the Dev I'm out. EDIT: Dev/Mods added the Femdom tag and the Dev mentioned that he's considering making the femdom scene skippable. Look for newer reviews to see if it actually hapened.

As of version 1.3 I find what's presented here very bland. The story and writing are basic at best. MC gets back to his hometown after a couple years where apparently slavery has been made the norm and a group of people have essentially been stripped of the equivalent of their human rights... by a mayor. And the vast majority of people you encounter treat this as completely normal. Now, it's implied that there's something strange going on behind the scenes, but at face value it's really difficult for me to suspend my disbelief. So far, there are no older people who remember how it was previously and find this change regretful, not much in the way of attempts of the slaves to flee to a different city where they'd be 100% free either. There's also inconsistencies with what slaves are allowed and not allowed to do. It's just incredibly hard to believe this story. Gameplay wise, it's pretty bad. It's a very small sandbox with repeatable events to farm stats, though the stats barely do anything as of now, and calling them events is way too generous. Also, for whatever reason whenever you watch a repeatable BJ or Handy, you have to tell the girl five times that their eyes are pretty to get their lust back up. The work minigames are also hardly interesting. I'm sure some people would prefer if AVNs didn't have minigames at all, but I can accept them as a trope of the genre as long as they're at least interesting and not overly grindy. Animation quality is actually pretty nice, maybe a bit stiff but no excessive clipping or hovering. Also some good camera perspectives. Though overall I find the animations as uninspired as the writing, but if they were the worst part of the game, it would actually be a pretty good game. The only thing I really liked about this is that the girls seem a bit more dominant than the average love interest in these harem AVNs. They're not full on domme mode, but they don't take shit from the MC and know what they want, though again the writing doesn't do this aspect of their personalities any favors. I think nothing here is terrible, and it's still fairly early in development, so I hope the dev can improve on (and rework) what I'd consider a decent foundation.

Story is below average and it dosent help that its kinetic/linear story where you have 0 choices, your forced to be in relationship and fuck everyone, its the most pointless type of game since you as the player arent part of it when you cant deside anything. The sandbox is also pointless, boring and brainless mini games that are only there to waste your time and make game even more repetitive, same for leveling up girls where you just do the same things over and over, talk about the same shit over and over, its just pointless. As for the girls they are a bit meh, maybe ts just the character style that i dislike but they just feel boring to me and just cant see them as hot. Animations are pretty decent and virgins show blod fucking them the first time so atleast it got this right. Musc is just generic background stuff nothing special.

i love reviewing new games with potential! gives me hope that my review's gonna contribute to its eventual blossoming of popularity, which i think this game has potential to do if the dev continues to work on it. alright, here are my thoughts on it. to put it simply, if you've played like harem hotel, HS tutor, mythic manor and those type of games, you'll feel right at home. the premise is simple - follow a general story whilst meeting girls, improve your relationship with then and eventually get to bone them while also experiencing their heartbreaking stories all at once. neat! the main thing that caught my eye is that this is one of the nicer looking koikatsu games. i feel like once you play over a hundred of these, your eyes become trained to notice what is 10 minute slop and what has thought put behind it. this is the latter! scenes look good, each girl and their individual scenes have well-animated shots for dialogue, idling, talking, etc. the lighting is good, renders itself are high quality, so on and so forth. for a koikatsu game, it looks great! my only nitpick is the bloom for some certain scenes. i don't really have any major "cons" for this game, but here's what i thought of during my time playing it: since this is going to be one of those games that has you swapping through menus/waiting for times *constantly*, i'd highly recommend adding a dedicated "return to your room" & "pass time" buttons to the UI. i'm okay with grinding relationship points and navigating locations, but it's so much nicer when the game helps you do so & is aware of it being a major issue down the line once you have a lot more locations/girls to manage. in summary, it's a good-looking koikatsu game in every sense of the word that clearly has effort & care put into it. there isn't all that much to do quite yet considering it released just over a week ago, but it's an amazing start & proof of concept that will only get better with updates. can't wait to see more!
