Some Kind Of Magic, a kinky hypno-themed 3D visual novel/dating sim.

v0.5.1 (Continue Story) unavailable after save/load (state system bug when deserializing numerical variables) duplicate sets of hands displaying for some suggestions when progressing from 3rd -> 4th scene during same session. The state system bug may also have affected the prologue scene progression, since there is also counting logic involved there - this release should also fix that. N/A on a bunch of changelogs v0.1.0 Initial Release The first release is finally here! It's a little rough around the edges, but hopefully I'll look to smooth those out over time. A few things I feel should mention: - I've locked the resolution to 1280x800 (16:10) for now, since I still need to test the occlusion at higher resolutions. I'll provide an option for selecting supported resolutions in a later build. - the functionality for highlighting previously read text isn't accurate, since I still need to re-id all the dialogue. It's turned off by default, so it's best to just ignore it for now. - the occlusion is a little temperamental, and so there may be the odd vanishing chair or bin here or there, however it shouldn't really be too noticeable. - the audio still needs correctly mixing, and so it may be a good idea to turn the master, BGM, SFX and AMB volumes down in the settings to about 50%. Regarding gameplay, once you've completed the first 6 events, you can find the final prologue event in the central courtyard. I'll be looking to add more NPC's to the prologue, but ultimately many of the empty rooms in the school are intended to be used by any new characters in the future.

The section early on where you are navigating around searching for a club, finding events...is ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE. The little events aren't bad, but the navigation is tedious and is a great way to get players to STOP playing your game. At the very least, there should be a better indicator of where you haven't been, or where you need to go.
