Something is an adult visual novel made by Forefinger in Ren'Py, with animated 3DCG visuals. The player takes on the role of a 28-year-old former soldier now working at an investigation company alongside his girlfriend. Because of their proximity, the pair receives a case involving the household of a deceased army comrade. The comrade’s mother rents out his room, giving the two investigators a convenient way to observe the household. The story explores relationship paths with adult themes, including harem and milf situations.
The current build is v0.14, released July 1, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is written in English, and is uncensored. The latest update proofread days 9 to 11 and added image and animation content. It added 65 neutral images, 23 Elsie/Kellsey path images, 45 Elsie/Kellsey adult images, 405 frames for 12 coded animations, 9 Amelia path images, 40 Amelia adult images, 423 frames for 6 coded animations, and coded ending animations for Amelia, Elsey, Avery, Jacqueline, Kellsey, and Starla.
Developer's description
You play the role of a 28y man who after leaving the army began working in an investigation company, where your girlfriend also works. For reasons of proximity, the two of you are given the mission of investigating the family of a former army comrade, who died in combat years ago. Luckily for you, his mother was renting out his room, which allows you to keep an even closer eye on the family's activities.
