Striker Lumina

version completed. oh what a disappointment, i was so close giving it 1/5 but oh well. it does a lot of things right, you can immediately unlock full gallery in beginning of game. the game can be played through in 1-2hours max. there are very few scenes. but most scenes are game over scenes, you only unlock them if you lose, and they have no consquence since it's game over. this game had a lot of potential, but the whole game feels like dev made a crude first draft, then said "fk it" and just put some art on it and check marked it as completed. there are 2 scenes which are not defeat oriented, but those are nearly impossible to find in that huge empty town. (but you can watch them in gallery) the story makes no sense. it has like 10twists in it, but the whole dialogue is SO LOW EFFORt it's astounding. the twists might make some ppl believe that it has good sdtory but it's anything but a good story, nobody has sane motivations. basically "they broke my toy so i kill everyone" then you can find out some other stuff happening to them im not sure if i should spoil or not since it's such a bad game i wouldn'T recommend to anyone. gameplay is interesting, you can shoot enemies from far or if they touch you then standard rpgm combat ensues. tbh 1-2 scenes are erotic, but since there is no corruption, most scenes end with game over, and there are very few scenes, like in gallery there are 4 category of scenes only... i cant recommend this extremely low effort game to anyone. it feels like a demo 0.3 where dev started with completing main story instantly, but everything feels lacking.

Game is a bit short, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I always have a soft spot for female protagonist that has a bit of interest in sexual stuffs, but not to the point of being a full blown slut. Combat feels rather fresh to standard RPM games. You can either breeze through enemies with normal long-range combat, or intentionally put yourself in a disadvantageous position via close-quarter combat (traditional RPM style) and see the combat rape. H-contents is a bit lacking, but it covers a pretty good area already. Art is nice. Lumina is also pretty cute, but still barely old enough.

Overall the gameplay is pretty good. Not, "came for the Hentai, stayed for the gameplay" good, but it's passable. What prevents this from being a 4/5 for me is the fact that there are so few scenes. I went into the reminiscence room after comepleting the game, and there were maybe 10, if that. It's short enough that I still think it's worth a play, but I wouldn't recommend it over any other game on the site.
