The Asmodeus Eyes is a choice-driven visual novel game It follows a troubled man who finds a strange VR device that gives him access to a powerful system tied to desire, control, and personal collapse. The main appeal is its branching story, dark tone, and a reset mechanic that turns failure into part of the progress.
The game is used for story-based play where reading, decision-making, and route testing matter more than fast action.
You move through scenes, read character reactions, pick responses, and watch how each choice pushes the plot in a different direction.
That makes it a better fit for players who like narrative-heavy games and want their choices to carry real weight.
One of its key features is the loop system. When you reach a bad ending, the timeline resets, but the knowledge you gained still helps on the next run.
This creates a trial-and-error style that feels intentional rather than frustrating. It also adds replay value, since each route can reveal new scenes, different outcomes, and extra context that was easy to miss the first time around.
Another strong point is how the game blends its system elements into the story. Status screens, skills, and items are present, but they are used to support the narrative instead of pulling attention away from it.
On the other hand, this is a mature game with very dark themes, unavoidable NTR content, and emotional cruelty built into the main storyline. Roaming System: Explore the city, encounter main and supporting characters, and discover Side Quest Stories. You will need to test your resource management skills—balancing Time, AP, and LP (Energy)—throughout your daily activities going forward.
Life Sim & Base Upgrade System: Manage your daily life, and upgrade your base stats, items, and skills.
Memory System: A Gallery mode that allows you to look back at past memories and replay scenes.
Lustlink System: Once you successfully establish a "Lust Link" with a character, you can virtually connect with them within the TAE SYSTEM. This is divided into two main features:
Costume System: Purchase and change character outfits, select poses, and use the zoom/pan functions. You can easily save the screen as an image file. In the future, you will be able to mix and match multiple characters and backgrounds to create your own custom wallpapers!
Scene Player: Select a character and a scene to play out (planned to evolve into a full Sex Sim in the future). You will use LP to unlock new scenes. An example of this is inserting yourself into NPC 2's memory, replacing the original male character with the protagonist.
Exclusive Content: For March, the exclusive content will feature a "What If" scene continuing from the end of Chapter 0.06. It acts as one of the final choices of the chapter, replacing the male character with Yuta, and includes extra exclusive scenes that expand on the story!
Upcoming Feature: Mini-games to extract "NECTAR," which can be combined to craft potions via the Alchemy Skill.

Lust Link Function

This system displays characters that have successfully met the Lust Link unlock conditions, including special requirements from various events. The TAE system will generate a simulation of the character within the interface, allowing for direct interaction and modification of the simulated characters.
Costume System Introduces character outfit customization featuring various poses specific to each outfit. Images can be clicked for a full-screen view, complete with zoom and pan functionalities, as well as a vertical display mode optimized for mobile devices.
LP Utilization: LP can be spent to unlock new outfits based on specific progression conditions.
Event Exclusives: During special events or activities, exclusive characters and limited-edition outfits may become directly available for purchase within the system using LP.
Scene Play System (Scheduled for Patch 0.06.2 or 0.07) A dedicated mode for unlocking and viewing H-Scenes via the H-Sim simulator. This feature allows the selection of specific scenes, poses, and endings, providing direct access to H-content while giving a practical use to the MC's Lust stat (a minor mini-game element may be included to enhance outcomes).
Unlock Mechanics: Similar to the Costume System, LP can be used to unlock new scenes upon meeting certain conditions. Special events may also introduce exclusive characters or scenes to this mode.

The Asmodeus Eyes [v0.06.22] This game has the potential to become something unique. The mechanics are interesting, but still clunky and not very intuitive. After the initial "Asmodeus tutorial" with Mai-san – which I found well done – the free-roaming in the city becomes a complete mess. I had a hard time staying invested until the end. Arrows lead to places that make no sense, "back" arrows don’t actually lead back, and so on. I even had to sketch out a city map myself just to understand the navigation. This part really needs a serious makeover. I also didn’t like the restrictive handling of safes! The music is nice, SFX are generally good, but can get quite annoying, especially when The Asmodeus Eyes (demonic software or whatever????) go amok. Renders and animations are done with Honey Select 2. The upside is that standard H-animations are fluid. The downside is that we get rather boring faces, shapes, and overall body features with almost no variation. DAZ3D is simply superior to what HS2 can provide. Well - at least the characters have realistic proportions. The focus will definitely be on NTR themes, but it looks like there will also be some development for the MC (with different story outcomes), possibly including netori elements. The story and characters seem believable and grounded, very much to my liking. I’ll revisit my rating once the title gets more updates and polish.

There is a fun H-game here with good models, but it's bogged down by trying so hard to being a shitty game that's overly obtuse about what it wants you to do. If this game was just a proper Renpy game, it would be infinitely better. Instead, it's kinda shit and I can't recommend trying it unless you're not looking for porn at all and would rather play poorly thought out minigames and space logic puzzles. If that is what you want, however, this game is fantastic. Enjoy the ball stomping.

But what makes it extremely frustrating is the amount of ear rape sound effect that you cannot disable even if you tone the ingame volume down to 0.
