The Book of Bondmaids is a Ren'Py adventure from Kamti Games Studios, using 2D animated art and a fantasy setting. You play a male courtier from Conussia's fallen dynasty, partly blamed for the coup that placed an undead Lich on the throne. The Lich keeps you in service, while a captive Princess, a seductive right-hand woman, and a resistance movement pull you toward different choices. Development continues in the current v2.0.0c + DLCs build, first released on December 15, 2022 and updated on April 8, 2024. It runs on Windows and Linux, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog added an Artbook DLC with over 100 sketches and unused artwork, reorganized the main menu into an Extra content submenu for Gallery, Promo, Artbook, and Stories, and introduced a Promo section. Finishing all routes lets you ask Misallyna to unlock missed gallery images. Added DLCs include Tales, UNRATED, and Cooks, Thieves, Wives and Lovers.
Developer's description
A Kingdom in ruins, a Princess in chains, a Hero caught between redemption and damnation, and an ancient, worn, dusty Book... The ruling royal dynasty of Conussia has been overthrown, and an undead Lich now sits on the throne. As a courtier to the previous regime you were partly responsible for the coup, and as such, your services have been retained by the Lich. Spoiler As the story unfolds, you learn that there is much more to this occupation than meets the eye, and must choose whether to ally yourself with the Lich and his seductive right-hand woman, with the Resistance to try and undo the damage you have unwittingly done, or to walk the dangerous thin line of the mercenary, loyal to no-one but his friends. Lastly, of course, is the Princess, who from her prison cell holds a terrible secret that could change everything.
