The City of Wicked Men

it's not even an intro. not even a prologue. it's ..... setting ? she moves to a new city , leaves the train , it's night and then you're given the choice to cross the road by the underpass or to cross the actual road. that's it . that's the game. I gave it 3 stars because at the moment it's average and there's too little content to judge. the girl is sexy enough. I hope we'll get the choice to turn off the Ai voice. It's not that I dislike it, but I want the agency to lower its volume/turn it off.

Unfortunately, this first version of the game doesn't rise above mediocrity. It has some good ideas, but suffers from the usual weaknesses of AI-based games. Graphics: The avatar's art style changes too often. Sometimes pale, sometimes tanned. Sometimes looking 22, sometimes 14. The backgrounds are too inconsistent or illogically chosen. Writing style and voice acting: Since I'm not a native English speaker, I won't comment on the writing style. The voice is sometimes too unemotional and doesn't always match the written text. The text for the voiceover appears on the next page. Story: It's all been done before. A girl runs away from home hoping for her big break. She loses money and her ID. She has to start from scratch. But wait, the demo ends before that. You already know what's coming. She can't afford the rent in a cheap hotel. Without an education, she can only find low-paying jobs with creepy bosses. Quick money is only possible through prostitution. The streaming career is seen solely as a source of income, and the actual goal is lost sight of. Friendships are hard to find or, in addition, encourage corruption (a colleague at the diner who makes money by streaming porn). I'd finally like to see some new ideas. Music: So far, the choices are quite good. I also like the song that plays when you want to cross the street. A few credits to the artists would be nice. Gameplay: Even though it's just a short demo, the lack of an autosave function is still a nuisance. To try all the paths, you have to keep starting over or saving every minute. The minigames/decisions could be a good idea, but only if you don't get stuck in a black screen afterward.

[0.1] I hope the dev continues working on this, there is not much to do, but uses ai the good way, lot of images describing the path you take, so you don't even need to read it, maybe just 1-2 senteces to get more context. Graphically looks well, character looks consitent, the ai sounds is questionable - it's not for all text, since it's not voice acting, either it should be all or non... Can recommend to give it a try, it's very short, for now 3 stars as it's too soon to judge, but it's on a good way to be good AI VN.
