The Dark Rose is a fantasy game built with Ren'Py by Kazeki. You take the role of a main character whose life has gone smoothly until one night changes everything. The story follows him as he learns more about his past and meets many people along the way. Its presentation uses animated 3D CG art, and the play leans toward a simulator style, mixing warm moments with painful ones. A warning suggests that what seems obvious can hide deeper complexity.

Developer's description
You play as the MC who has had everything go right in life, well that is until that fateful night. You will play through the game learning about your past and meeting plenty of people on the way. There will be heartwarming scenes along with heartbreaking scenes. Spoiler Before you enter the game, take this piece of knowledge with you; The things that seem the most obvious are usually the things that are most complex.
