About The Hero's Adventure Log
The Hero's Adventure Log is a fantasy sandbox adventure made by ForrCats in Ren'Py. It uses 2D CG and animated visuals. You play a male protagonist who wakes with no memory beside a road in the Kingdom of Verde. The people there have long told of a summoned hero, and now, with the queen missing and thefts occurring, you are asked to help citizens and learn why you were brought there. You explore the land, help citizens, and investigate the mysteries around your summoning.
The current build is a demo. It was released on June 19, 2026, and is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. The game is in English and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry marks the initial release of the demo, giving players the first version of the story and gameplay to try.
Developer's description
In the Kingdom of Verde, the tale of the hero has been passed down for many millennia. It's said that the summoned hero will one day walk the land and aid the citizenry in their time of need. Seemingly as prophesied, in the wake of Verde's missing queen and a series of mysterious thefts, you have awoken on the side of the road with no memory. Battered and confused, you are told that it's your job as the otherworldly hero, to help the people of Verde and unravel the mysteries surrounding your summoning! The only guidance you receive is: Express yourself honestly. Give them warmth. Ensure our happiness.
