The Land of Arabasta is a 3DCG Ren'Py adventure made by Syphax Studio. You play as a young orphan who feels like an outsider in his village. After finding a notebook left by his missing father, he follows cryptic clues to an ancient crypt. A hidden cemetery entrance leads him underground, where darkness takes over and he wakes alone in a vast desert. The game blends fantasy, adventure, and sandbox themes, using Ren'Py presentation and 3DCG visuals for its story.
The current build is v0.2, an initial release dated April 23, 2023. It is a released build rather than a demo or finished version. It is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The v0.2 changelog lists this as the initial release.
Developer's description
As a young orphan male, the protagonist has always felt like an outsider in his village. One night, he discovers a notebook written by his father, who had disappeared mysteriously. The notebook contains cryptic clues about an ancient crypt hidden somewhere in the village. Determined to solve the mystery and find out what happened to his father, the protagonist sets out on an adventure to find the crypt. He follows the clues and eventually stumbles upon a hidden entrance in the village cemetery. As he enters the crypt, he is plunged into darkness and the ground gives way beneath him. He wakes up to find himself in a vast desert, disoriented and alone.
