HNY2025 - Special Edition The reason I'm releasing the Special Edition now is that the game was originally planned for 2025, but a series of problems threw everything off track. I opened 4 options, but only two will be available, the others remain open depending on my workload. This version has very little in common with the first one. Major changes: Almost entirely new characters/clients Except for Melanie, who remains very active, I'm focusing on animated characters , lighter and more lively than static PNGs (have a look at Nina!) Improved quality and detail across the board , backgrounds, images, and animations Random visual effects on certain images to make the game feel more alive Location updates: Reception — a second camera added for more fun and possibilities; previous images of Sebastian, Indiana, Lara, and Lola will be replaced Bar — larger space, clients now appear randomly to keep things lively, and certain appearances can trigger events (from day 2 onwards) Jacuzzi — now a full pool and jacuzzi area; same random display system with optional events Hallway — two floors, same event trigger system Ted & Nina's room — changes based on your route, characters met, or events triggered, for more variety and possibilities (in progress) Main map — keep an eye on it to know what's available at any given time The game currently covers one full day, with the biggest changes visible from day one but especially from day two onwards. The most significant progress is in the translation, no more Shakespeare mode where I'd produce some creative spelling choices, intentional or not. Though writing slightly twisted sentences is still a bit of my signature. Known Bugs & Fixes in Progress Ren'Py is having issues with back-to-back video playback, particularly with VP9 and alpha layer formats (see the doc) — a fix is being prepared Some transitions are running a bit long, this is being sorted and will be done soon Oct 2025 -Gallery Two new entries have been added: - Valentina, follow the NTR route and unlock it after the first evening when Hugo works at the bar. - Kendal, follow the BOW route and unlock it after Kendal brings Nina back to the motel. - Fixed, the show and hide buttons crashed the game. NTR Route – The ending has been modified; Wazaki now sleeps in his room – No new day has been added BOW Route – Part of the dialogue has been reviewed and corrected – Several images have been replaced with new ones, and some additional ones have been added – Certain animations have been replaced, and new ones have also been added General - Same here, certain animations have been replaced, and new ones have also been added – Added a new line of code and a script that allows frame-by-frame animations to display at 30 fps For comparison, a cinema film displays at about 24 fps, whilst my clips usually displays at around 60 fps This script appears to be working properly, although not with every animation – Some frame-by-frame animations have been converted into video format, saving space and improving smoothness – Fixed an issue with clickable buttons caused by the upscaling process – Some poorly upscaled images have been replaced with new ones, though not all I no longer have access to the original scenes, so I cannot recreate the images without the correct lighting Sep 2025 This version of “The Motel” contains new renderings that are of much higher quality than the previous version. I tried a 1920*1080 resolution, but the number of pixels created is too high to be filled correctly. Two variables have been added, which will allow two new galleries to be opened in the next update. Jun 2025 Public Update Notes The first conversion of .jpg and .png images into .webp lowered the quality. I went back to the original game files and upscaled them again using another filter.The result: less smoothing, sharper hair details, and fewer blurry eyes. The new renders are originals, with no editing applied. Over 12,000 lines have been reread, corrected, and improved. Around 18,000 still remain. Three new days were added to the NTR route. Honestly, this route should have started much earlier, so the transition is tricky and takes time.There are still several days left to create for this path. Many changes are invisible during play, but they improve quality and optimise the game.Some Motel scenes are heavy for Ren’Py and I need to avoid performance slowdowns. ⚠ Please don’t expect “pure NTR”... I’m now using Blender for animations.I’m still learning, but you’ll notice the difference especially in the last 10 animations… oops... Next step: longer animations. Sorry again for making you wait so long. For the next update, I’ll start with all the missing galleries. Special Edition: Game status: Initial duration: Planned for 5 days, but now extended by a few more days in the final version. This extension will allow for more story, intrigue, and additional content. Current state: Unfortunately, only two days are available due to the issue described below. About the game: There’s no main storyline yet—I didn’t have enough time to plan it. Four days are written and ready but waiting for renders to be completed. However, only two days are currently available. Four paths are available: Voyeur, interacial, Milf and cheating,( missing content for voyeur) The main story remains the same, but depending on your choices, the game will highlight specific aspects. The biggest changes happen during lunch and evening scenes. Technical innovations: One thing I’m proud of is adding transparent animations, which open the door to countless possibilities,especially for Saturday Night. Unlike the original Motel, this game is much more structured, making it easier for me to track progress. According to DAZ Studio, all images are in HD… but I have my doubts. 2024-07-15 - Hugo, bisexual content, no filters or skipping scenes. I would have liked to add more content but 3 weeks is very short! I have continued to prepare the lesbian storyline and the addition of gay content, which will be for the next update. A known bug on my part, rare, but it happens. When you press the "buttons" to launch the gallery scenes, there may be a relatively long response time. More information will be provided when the right time comes. I am aiming high, in September the updates for "The motel" will be more frequent until its conclusion, then SN. This summer, I want to remake and finish "New day." Today, I have the knowledge to make this game on Ren'Py. No updates, a complete game! December 2023 Hello ! The latest version of "The motel" is finally available! There's a lot to say and a lot of changes! I'll try to keep it short. First of all, why has the update been so long in coming? There are lots of reasons, but here are the most important ones! Renpy update, a variable now has to be written in a different way, this has made almost all backups corrupt! See update note. The game is fixed and your saves should work! The French version has been removed for several reasons, the game will no longer be translated! Daz studio... It's not my thing and I don't know the technical details! Nvidia has updated its drivers and Daz hasn't changed its software. I reported the problem in August, see screenshot on my Discord. The solution I found was unfortunately not 100% viable, some lights still crashed the software! Impossible to continue the lesbian route! Today, the problem has been solved, even if it came late! The most important problem, a big moron gave me a .duf file containing Octane render data! Octane render is a very good piece of software that allows you to render better quality images, but at the same time, it's a big piece of shit ! It's not a virus, but it works in the same way, even if it's not installed on your computer! A file with two characters weighs between 3Mb and 10Mb on average, and here what Octane render does! ( See pic ) Daz studio can't open files this big or you have to wait 30 minutes... I'm not even going to mention the textures and other problems... a real feast! Just to let you know that over the last few months I've had a lot of problems with the softwares ! I'm not a professional, so when I have a problem I do what everyone else does, I go on Google! Now here what you expect and what's most important to you. What's new with the motel: -The game has been completely rebuilt. - New interface during the game, saves will update automatically in the mornings and at lunchtime. Integrating the new interface into the game would have crashed all your saves. - Conversion of .png images to .jpg to save disk space. - Conversion images to video to save disk space. - New music and sounds have been added but need to be reworked.... - Between 1,500 and 2,500 new renders, images and animations. - I've fixed the thousand and one problems you pointed out. The images and videos are not all used, but are ready for the next version. -All the animations were made with Daz-->Blender---Daz! Blender has more tools and is easier to use to create animations. I've been wanting to learn for a long time and now I have. Two little fight scenes will show you what I've learnt to do in a short time. - An important new character was added at the start of the game, and she'll be used on several routes. - Route Ntr, new images and animation, some are only redone. No new day. - Interracial route, new images and animation, some are only redone. No new day. - Lesbian route, because of the problems above, I couldn't do this route. - The cheating road has been renamed slutty road. Cheating is fine, but you might as well be clearer. Ditto, because of the problems mentioned above, I had to interrupt this itinerary. - New and complete road, Esotericism. This route won't please many people, but I wanted to do it. Less sex and still as sexy. This route is for Ted, I wanted him to have his own way. The story is quite complicated, it's especially for those who like reading and humour. Don't rush to the game if you're in any doubt about the content! And I won't be answering any questions either! ( game content ) Sorry to have kept you waiting so long!
