The Rescue of Mermaids is a 2D animated fantasy game by Gillenew, built with a non-standard engine and centered on adventure and combat. You play Garry, a human-looking cursed creature who must stay aroused to keep his human form. His three mermaid companions are taken by a frightening monster, so he sets out to free them and recover his freedom.
The current Windows release is the Steam build dated May 17, 2025, version v1.1.9, in English and uncensored. Development appears ongoing, with the latest update adding an Extra Content menu, a Library, a second world with new stages, and the final boss battle. In The Rescue of Mermaids, you play as Garry, a human-looking creature who possesses a curse that turns him into octopus, to keep himself in human form he needs to be aroused, and for that he has a small harem with 3 mermaids who are his companions of adventures and love.
One day Garry was relaxing when a horrifying creature appeared and captured all the mermaids at once, leaving Garry alone. Now he must seek and release his companions if he wishes to freely enjoy the human form again.

Hello all, we have been working hard and have polished up the game for the past few months! Our goal with being part of Shady Corner's branding has been to bring the game up to a standard we can all be happy with.
We have addressed all of your concerns, fixed a load of bugs and polished it as well as added some new content. Our goal now is to give you a fresh new experience with no frustrations and a new outlook on Rescue of Mermaids.

New update with some bug fixes, polishes and additions.
In this version I added a system of automatic position correction for the locomotion of the octopus, thus avoiding grabbing on the corners, added the minimap to facilitate the location and also to let you know where you've explored and also added the vaginal sex part with the scuba cow, now you can try to get her pregnant.
