Barren of content. Plot is nonsensically convoluted. Princess is a sociopath. MC is a non-entity. All he does is peep on the ugly bastard playing with the princess. All endings suck. Complete and utter wate of time.
The art is good, the scenes are nice imo. I even enjoyed the combat and gameplay loop for the most part, even if it was a bit slow. I'd recommend it as a 4- or 5-star work if not for what's missing, still worth playing for some. If you actually read everything, I think the story makes sense and is good. Ending 2 unlocks the final Info entry and shines a little more light on this. What I can't defend is the apparent lack of an actual alternate ending, or justification for the MC's efforts - or for the drawn-out gameplay loop. As others have said, it feels like the MC has no place in the story, but... There are seemingly unused items in the game files that heavily imply an alternate route or more player agency/impact in the story. Please tell me if I missed some obscure interaction in my 3 play-throughs tonight. I can only think that half of the game was abandoned during development, which would be tragic imo. Solid game that could've been more. Below are some spoilers and interpretations of the story. Spoiler: The Truth It's a story about faith. Lucrezia is a devoted princess of the kingdom and conniving fox. Pretty much everything unfolds exactly as she planned from the start. I'm fairly certain she was only repeating that random guard's words to herself due to the irony of how spot-on they were. "Lure him with her body, huh?" The last few lines of the final Info entry "The Truth" read as follows: Looking at the outcome, it seems that there was no real need to go through the trouble of using a contract with Nuleth. Why take such a roundabout approach? This is purely my own speculation, but... Could the princess have wanted to give Abol a chance? A one-in-a-million, one-in-a-hundred-million chance... Amidst hopeless odds, she may have wanted to offer him an opportunity to fulfill the contract... It's only my imagination, but I hope that this was her intention. Lucrezia is shown to be ridiculously intelligent and a bit sly. There are many ideas about intelligence, one being that it corresponds with empathy. That the more intelligent a person is, the more they can understand and respect other people's feelings. (Think Meruem in HxH.) Probably Lucrezia had always intended to let him deflower her on the final night of the contract (effectively guaranteeing Nuleth would intervene and force him to pay the price for it). This is basically intellectualized murder. If you walk in on her affair with Abol, this cold, sly fox of a princess shows a moment of sadness even at needing to dispose of a nosy guard. She does the same when Abol breaks her hymen, not because it hurts physically or because she regrets losing her virginity, but because this is the moment she killed him. She still thought of Abol as one of her subjects, and even despite having a one-in-a-million chance to win, he was completely unaware of the real stakes of the contract and could never imagine the consequences of indulging himself in her temptations. She basically took candy from an intellectual baby, taking his life in a rigged game and using it to secure the position of General, and feels bad about it. Going back to walking in on her, she says something to you before you die: "I thought you were smarter than that." Between this and her dialogue with the shopkeeper in Ending 2, we can extrapolate a bit that she was aware of the MC investigating their contract and snooping on them, and perhaps that she respected the MC's intellect. This murder and cover-up causes her some trouble and draws attention to the affair, something she definitely would not normally allow. He was the only real loose variable - everything else was under her control the whole time. I think originally the MC was supposed to act as her judge; Someone who looked up to her and respected her caught on to what was happening and began asking questions, beginning to unravel her web, and she allowed it out of self-loathing for the foregone conclusion of Abol's death. Her stated justification for letting Ein live (see Ending 2) feels like a white lie to the shopkeeper, with the sly gleam in her eyes implying she's forgiven herself (or more likely been forgiven by Ein, her judge). The MC's default name, Ein. "Ein" being a German word which could loosely be understood to mean "One". The one-in-a-million chance for Abol to succeed. Probably, as he struggled to understand Lucrezia's actions and closed in on the truth, Ein was supposed to make a choice: 1. Let it happen (in ignorance, merely having faith in Lucrezia; in full knowledge, silently condoning and allowing her scheme). Without Ein fully understanding everything, he could never actually forgive what she did. Ending 1 would have Lucrezia bear the burden of murder all by herself, none of her collaborators knowing how it pained her. In Ending 2 she would find in Ein someone with whom she shares a mutual respect and understanding, who sees her for what she is and chose to stand by her. 2. Go to Abol (in ignorance as a misguided attempt to "save" Lucrezia from the contract, or in full knowledge to stop his respected mentor from becoming a murderer). I think this is what she wants, behind her cold mask of necessity. However impossible it may have been, she wished she could be spared the guilt and self-inflicted torment that would come with killing Abol. Perhaps even to be hated for intending to do such a thing. It is said that Nuleth does not allow one-sided contracts. Naturally one would assume (as Ein does initially) that the contract is forcing Lucrezia to serve Abol because of his accomplishments. However, he doesn't accomplish much of anything. Even if Ein displays exceptional strength and courage under General Abol's command, it amounts to very little. The "silly little reward" of tea and cake is symbolic of this. Since there are no discernable consequences for his lust until the final night of the contract, this could mean two things: that only taking her virginity actually counted against him in Nuleth's eyes, or more likely that bit about Nuleth from before means that this God enforces balance in the end . The contract was likely something innocuous like: "From the signing of this contract till 7 days passed, Lucrezia Hartverne will serve Abol Glenbergen's every desire according to his performance as acting General. If Lucrezia Hartverne does not follow this agreement, she will be punished by the heavens." We see Lucrezia easing him into it on the couch, keeping him reined in throughout the week - subtly guiding him onto/along the tracks she planned out. Giving him time to take it seriously, or maybe resist her charms. Abol didn't know enough and didn't care about the Gods or the specifics of contract magic - but allowing Nuleth to preside over the contract would make any disadvantage for her all the more punishing for him in the end (and perhaps more lenient for her). Sure, Abol got to "have his way" with Lucrezia for a few nights. And his poor understanding of the contract and of the actual duties of a General caught up to him. If Abol never laid a hand on Lucrezia (or maybe just never deflowered her), the contract would presumably end without much consequence; But if he also became a fine general, getting nothing in return, Nuleth may have forced her to be his slave wife for the rest of her life. In the missing scenario, Ein would help Abol become a proper general, preventing the result of the contract we see in the current endings, without fully understanding the contract. Blindly handing over his mentor to a foul, perverted man whom he hates, with his own hands. The groundwork is all laid for this route, and it would probably make more sense for him to try and "save" her. His inner monologues resisting the succubus (the presumed hallucinations / "Fantasy Princess" scenes he sees in the guards' training room) would carry more meaning if there were an alternative; Keeping faith in his mentor, even as he saw more, learned more - even as Abol began to show some humanity (in apparent fear for his life, to win Ein's sympathy, and to win and claim Lucrezia forever) - would become harder to accept. Rather than a foregone conclusion, a 999,999/1,000,000 result, Ending 2 would be more of a True Ending. As is, the story is like a fine ballroom dance with only one dancer. With Ein's help, Abol would've been the other. Save 3 = Ending 2 (unlocks the final entry in Info until you exit to title). Save 2 = Ending 1.
Good: - Art is nice i guess Bad: - Not many scenes - Not even NTR as the MC has no connection with the princess - It doesn't even make sense why the princess is having a relationship with the general - I got softlocked just interacting with things - Can't skip text - The 'game' is basically a walking simulator, just get a full save, or even better, don't play this game
Very repetitive and crap gameplay. It's pretty much just walking up and down the same stairs over and over and over for the next gallery image. No real animations, just sprites moving around like vtubers. NTR-affect is average, you have no real connection to the FMC so it's not even cheating.
Good art, really bad story. Just get a full save lole. TL;DR: Mook see perfect princess hook up with ugly bastard minister and peep on them. Legit nothing special happens nor do you get any satisfying resolution to the story.
Welp, finally played the game and... yea it's a bust for me. Which is pretty disappointing considering I really liked the other game- Red Demon. A strong willed woman who isn't broken and denies the ugly bastard's advances. Absolute peak variety in a landscape where the opposite is the norm. This game however, felt like an apology letter to those that wanted exactly that and it really does pull it off pretty well. Gameplay Overview: You play as one of many foot soldiers obsessed with the Princess Knight. But since you're a pro stalker, you end up chancing upon the princess having an affair with the ugly and lazy general bastard. And that's it. That's the entire story. Just spend days and nights engaging in voyeurism- fantasizing about the princess talking with you about her sexcapades, mocking you for doing nothing about it etc. Conclusion: It's not a netorare btw- not even by a long shot. Your perspective barely matters as you aren't even a blip on the heroine's radar. Even your choice of either being a rich noble or a lowly commoner has no meaningful effect. Just changes how much money you will have to spend at the shady shop, which will cut down your grind time. So, all in all, you neither loose her, nor are able to save her. Just a mute spectator in the shadows with your dick out. An absolute wet dream for masochist beta characters. I heard the game was a collab, so I guess it's kinda unfair to draw parallels with Red Demon? Still, even though I was disappointed, I felt it'd be unfair to torpedo this one's ratings because of it. If I had voyeur kinks, I'd definitely be all over it. However, I do not so, I took one star off. All in all, a good one if it's up your alley. The art is A tier as always and so are the scene setups. If it's your thing, dive right in
With recent update on cien and X i can say that turn out this game is pretty much a demo for what to come next , Nuko is more like a screenwriter and a artist rather than a game dev and this "game" is a collab , Nuko did not design the gameplay . Over all this demo has good art and nice Pov/Ntr voyerism , with the new translator this is pretty good in term of story and drama . Gameplay is it weakness , you fight monster and the investigate , there not much a very barebone even for a demo there will be a sequel after this or what i should say the real game , other than that just download the save
This feels almost more like a very mature demo than a full game. If you go in knowing this is very linear and no matter what you do the outcome is basically the same, I'd probably give it 4 stars. But the way it is setup and presented makes it feel like there was more content planned that was just never implemented. Art is solid and quite good voyeur PoV. MTL is...better than I was expecting given comments. You can mostly understand all dialogue without confusion. UI and non-dialogue is annoyingly untranslated in a lot of places, though none of it is terribly important. Story that is there is good. But it feels so much like there could be branching paths and multiple endings. Even in MC's thoughts and dialogue it seems to hint that there are multiple possible routes that were just never implemented. Which for me, led to a lot of wasted time thinking I missed something until I checked the gallery and realized, nope. That was it. Gameplay honestly is pretty lackluster, even for an RPGM. It feels like the original direction planned on multiple routes, but then axed all but one leaving just a demo of possible features for the game laid over a VN of a single route. Overall, I'd give this 3.5 stars, but rounding down. Probably worth checking out. But has a lot of obvious room for improvement.
I have absolutely no idea what anyone said or what I did, yet I managed to beat both the game and my meat. The MTL is so bad that, for the first time in forever, I forwent trying to decipher this insult to English and went hard with my cock in the wind and a blinder on my eyes in order to unlock all scenes. The art is really nice, but I just wish I knew what went on. Also, the gameplay is terrible but easy to be navigated. Lots of rinse and repeat. In addition this isn't NTR, even with no idea what is being said in the story I can tell that. It is voyeurism and either dreams or delusions. However, with all this said... I wouldn't skip it. The girl is hot af and her scenes are nice.
No. This game isnt good. The Art is good and it has sounds and all but it is so weird. Part of it surely is the MTL which is bad but okay. But the game itself is shitty. The girl acts like a total moron which blows the whole NTR part. Her actions and the story as a whole is dog.
Part of me was really excited for this but honestly this game is a bit of a let down. Pros: -Amazing art -Sound FX present Cons: -MTL is pretty awful, but not outright dogwater. -CGs are pretty limited (Either delusions or voyeur) -Corruption feels pretty rushed and the girl is already into it (Could be a good thing for some)? -Pretty boring gameplay, just find the general's room/people whispering/boring standard rpgm combat. Game feels pretty straightforward with unnecessary combat and mtl is pretty bad with menu options not translated (some cg text in game appear here and there, those are untranslated too). I wouldn't really say this is considered NTR since the princess never really has any attraction for you, merely you stalk her at night. I wouldn't say skip this because the girl is kinda hot but otherwise dont have high expectations.
Right from the start the game is pure quality! The art, atmosphere, story telling and all of the RPG elements are top quality. Sadly the game is MTL and some of the text (such as menus and titles) are not translated at all, which ruins the story telling and missing out on some important hints. Would be a solid 4/5 if it was translated properly, for excellent score I was missing the MC connection to the princess - seemed there was no interaction between them at all almost.
Graphics The CG is fantastic the princess knight character is well drawn. Gameplay The battle is simple straight forward but the thing is that the battle is only 4 waves. The strategy of buying potions ahead of time and use it ahead of time is new to me but a welcome change as this add to strategy and management of funds. The investigations aspect of the game is rather simple Sounds and Music There is an excellent female voice sound effects when doing the lewd scenes just the sex scene so that helps. Other then that the music is pretty decent for an rpgmaker mz game. The Text The storyline in the game , the text which I wish it can be better as at time the 'he' and 'she' got mixed in there and giving the reader hard time to follow the game storyline. I suspect the use of machine translations it is decent but it can be improved in the future .
This man games are usually good. He has a thing for emotionless females, sometimes because they are a dolls, sometimes because of magic and stuff. The art is what sells his games normaly. And you don't have to work that hard for the scenes. In this one the ntr is basically "My love interest is fucked by a fat bastard" there is no real relationship more than that, but its still netorare since it was a love interest (just veeeeery light netorare in my opinion). Good game overall, for me drawings are better than 3d even if 3d games have an easier time implementing animations, so take my review with that in mind.
I already do a quick review of this game when it was newly release in Red Haired Demon forum but since this is the updated ver. Imma keep this short. Pros: This is emotionless (almost), ugly bastard, corruption, ntr fetish type game. Depend on your taste this might be really good or really bad. This is one of the game where you can rename how boobs and pussy are called. You can change the boobs into "fun bag" if you want lol. Art CG is what you expect from Nuko Majin very nice. After the update seems like a lot of bugs have been fix. There still some and there, but its don't effect the game anymore. (does this count as pros?) Cons: Repetitive as fuck gameplay, its very boring. Go listen to people whispering, walk into the same place and same room there's only 4 place that you can go. I recommend using the Mtool to cheat your way through the game. Lack of content. There is only like 10-13 replayable scene in this game. I have been following this game news for at least 3-4 months, but it took me 2 hours to beat the game. Buy Red Haired Demon or other Nuko Majin games instead. It's only 5 bucks more expensive, but it have 4-5 times the content of this game. Lack of variety. Same room, same dude, same costume. If you're unlucky like me and got noclip into the training ground after the battle. Use the Mtool to teleport into the Ugly Bastard room to forcefully start the event. 7/10 For the update ver . Since I am biased imma give this game a 4 stars because I can't give 3.5. If the dev add more content in the future it will be a a good 8/10. Thankfully after looking at the dev's Ci-en seems like there will be more content, fucking finally. Edit: Now I know why the game is lacking in content. It seems that another game developer (@onarinin_san on twitter) is commission Nuko Majin to do the art. It make sense, but Nuko Majin should have told us when he make this game.
