About Third Party
Third Party is a point-and-click Ren'Py simulator by Jaunter, using 3D CG renders. You play Neil, a recent college graduate living in his aunt's condo and applying for jobs while Alice begins a new life across the country. He stays connected through PulsePal, a messaging app with photos that vanish after being seen. When he finds PulsePirate, a tool that saves those disappearing images without the sender knowing, the game follows his weakening sense of privacy and boundaries as he learns more about Alice's life away from him. Its themes include corruption and voyeurism.
The current build is v0.1.0, released on October 28, 2026 as an initial release for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English. It is uncensored. The first chapter covers Neil and Alice's early weeks apart. It includes an interactive desktop with PulsePal, email, files, and a web browser, plus PulsePal conversations with Alice and friends, disappearing Pulses, PulsePirate's Vault and Threads modules, and 3D renders.
Developer's description
Neil and Alice never really had the "long distance" conversation. Staying together was never a question. Shortly after college graduation, Alice is settling into her new life across the country. A new job, new friends, a new volleyball team. Meanwhile, Neil is still living in his aunt's empty condo, sending out job applications and doing his best to keep up with her life through PulsePal, a messaging app where photos, known as Pulses, disappear after being viewed. Then he discovers PulsePirate, a little program with a simple promise: "Your memories shouldn't have an expiration timer." It lets him save those disappearing photos without the sender ever knowing. At first, it's just a way to hold onto the little moments Alice shares with him. But PulsePirate has more to offer than a photo archive, and the deeper Neil digs while losing touch with the idea of boundaries and privacy, the more he begins to discover about the life Alice is living without him.
