About the plot: A story about a naive and kind-hearted boy named Hitori, who — by some mysterious means — ends up on an island full of (as it seems to him at first) girls... The truth about them comes to light quickly — but it's nothing compared to what lies ahead: What is this place? How did he get here, and why? These are the questions he must uncover — along with others who ALSO got here the same way Hitori did. However, there's one catch: none of them remember their past lives BEFORE ending up here... except for Hitori. Can they uncover the truth together? Why were they chosen — and why is Hitori the only one who remembers? Will the others treat Hitori with suspicion for being the only one who kept his memories — or will they see him as their salvation? Should they seek the one behind it all — or will that someone come to them first?...

God damn, there's actual production quality in this one! We got animated cutscenes! And actual emotional dialogue! Digs at other games aside; it's a demo for now. But as (relatively) simple as the plot is, it introduces the story in a way that makes me more curious as to why it's all like that. You won't find too much to yoink your sploink to in the demo, but it shows potential. 4/5, with an extra star for good luck to see if it gets taken off hold.

I was honestly shocked by this demo! I think it's pretty solid for establishing what the project might be like in the future. Despite not being really lewd at all, up to this point; and that appearing to be the direction this will lead (I mean look where we are!). Something about the images and text SalfetkaFIVE uses had me locked in, and happy to see where this is going! It was extremely cinematic, and certainly established a strong vibe. Even down to the dialogue boxes, which had the (imo) humours choice of contrasting the implied trans flag with a Metallica-esq (but not exactly) font. My personal philosophy for these types of games is that it should prioritise either being a game or or being a story, but either way- you should provide the player with agency and action. I didn't see that in this demo, and yet I'm still excited to see where this will go (if it'll ever go). So, that should say something about the piece. I do have some small complaints about the piece: Firstly, the constant use of dissolve transitions is a bit much. It seems to be used stylistically, but it hits a little too heavy on them in this demo. Secondly, the constant use of dutch angles- similar to my first point; certainly appears stylistic, but may be used a little to heavily. Diminishing the returns of using such a technique. Third, and finally, the writing has some weak points. Primarily, the reveal and right after Hitori wakes up on the island. When Hitori first wakes up, the dialogue tags are used a little too much and imo that weakens the writing. It can be assumed that the description of action will apply to the previous portion of dialogue unless otherwise declared. So, lightening up on those would potentially make the narration stronger in that moment. While, my issue with the reveal is more of a personal irk than anything else. I'm sure it's how the character is meant to be characterised how it is presented. I think the "wha-wha-wha PENIS?!" trope is a little overplayed at this point. Sure, gay-panic might be a valid reaction but it'd be interesting to see a different more passive reaction. It feels like there's something there; open questions for Hitori to ask himself, such as: "What does this mean about my sexuality?", "Why do I feel weird about sexualising them now that I know they're boys?", "Is it weird that I feel guilty?" Or any other number of potential questions. But, again this is a personal issue- and it could just be down to what the intention behind the character is. Still, for such a small demo, these are choices which are still pliable. All that said, I do hope SalfetkaFIVE does return to this project because there's certainly something promising here Super short experience: ETC - ~1 Hour or less depending on reading speed

For a beginning of a game its pretty good. Story is okay if your used to anime storylines at this point. Characters seem fun even though interactions are limited at this point. Writing is okay for a first timer parts could be better but it's far better than a lot of the works i've seen. Most importantly It doesn't look or sound like it has been touched by ai. TLDR It's fun but short. I hope the story can expand further soon.
