I want to rate this higher, I really do. This is a really good premise, it has a solid foundation, good world building, etc. Theres a lot of core fundamental issues though, the tags that represent this game are like borderline wrong in a way. There's just so much going on, NTR? could be argued. FemDom? Could also be argued. Rape? Definitely happening alot, just not by the MC, more or less. Again could be argued, but its pretty clear theres alot of unwilling sexual acts happening. So to start things off, the main issue with the writing is the fact everytime theres even a slight conflict the characters involved in said conflict only seem to repeat the persons name ad-naseum, its so... boring to write that way its almost like the writing didn't account for an actual structured conversation so they just go with the trope of "Leah.... Leah..... Leah.... Emily.... Emily.... Emily...." to deal with EVERY SINGLE CONFRONTATION POSSIBLE. The MC is stunlocked so much he might as well be permanently brain damaged whenever something happens. Secondly, a lot of the events and occurrences in the game just dont make sense, everyones so naive, gulliable, and just green in every way. Even when they're clued into what is happening, what the stakes are, and what is going on, they treat everything like its just a fantasy. Massive lack of self-preservation on every character in the story, yet the criminal org "baddies" seem to have a chess board full of queens magically. I get gamers are proud and stupid alot of the time, but jesus man, gamers in this context are basically suicidal morons. Next, the models are super dated, and unfortunate that everyone that is under the implied age of 25-30 looks like crap except Calista. Then everyone over the implied age of 25-30 looks amazing except Samantha who looks like a grandmother for some reason. Ana is by far the hottest character in the game, Charlotte is better looking than most but shes a very generic model, A lot of the side characters look better than the main cast, its just an odd choice imo. It is what it is, I just had to point this out. Not really a part of my scoring choices. The kinks/tags, should be more choices in what kinks are being viewed, also the one choice we did get didnt mean anything (IE: not seeing characters other than MC having sex) get forced into watching Eli bang someone, and also grope Aurora, wasn't a fan of that. Calista is basically ran train on and heavily implied that she's basically a sex puppet and is a main LI, 80+% of the girls you sleep with in this game also are actively sleeping with other people and its VERY telling in the game that they are. Theres no fantasy for the player, it wants you to know, over half of the options are basically a whore. Leah, Emily, Aurora, and Samantha are the only ones that arent really pushed hard. Ana is basically "known" for fooling around with students Calista seems to be the only confirmed one but theres implication it happens a lot. Samantha was torn with Jake so she apparently wasn't with anyone but him, Emily, Leah and Aurora do mention past experiences but in passing. Theres a lot of femdom, theres three-foursomes, a bit of bi play, etc. Then like I said rape, because the whole premise of the secret baddie organization is "they have a hold on your life that you cannot break so you HAVE to do whatever they tell you" and Calista for example, as said is practically known for being fucked every which way regularly even though she doesnt actually want it. to me its like a single decision in an update could completely swing how I overall feel about this and either continue or drop it and its not a great feeling lol. I got so far before I was introduced into elements that I was like "wow okay, yeah not a fan of this, okay why is MC being rimmed not a fan of that, oh this girls basically being continously raped because they own her life and she cant possibly do anything about it, oh now its just a party full of whores that everyones openly fucking, ...wait didnt I say I didnt want to see other characters fuck people in my presence? and oh we're legit about to see some NTR happen (whew thank god it didnt!)" idk, again just really on a knifes edge for me lol. Will reiterate I really liked the first like ~4 episodes, but going on from like episode 5 it started going down some dark turns that just started getting weird, like the whole genre of the game shifted towards more corrupt, degenerate and darker themes in a heavy handed kind of way. The MC just gets weaker and weaker, the girls become more irrational and illogical, the super-evil-villain-org is somehow untouchable then randomly is compromised by a single person, too many loose characters and cuck vibes at times, introduction of kinks that werent really in the players hands, etc. The only choices that seemed to really mean anything were just turning down a sex scene nothing else seemed to matter, or be present for the player to have some semblance of control over what they're doing.

So lets take it from the worst thing about this entire VN, the MC is a passive bitch. Sure he's some super smart gamer/tactician but the reality is he lets everyone walk all over him. It kinda works out for him because he's got some magical plot armor. This being kinetic af means everyone slots into their roles in a very neat fashion even if you can see it coming from a mile away. The plot itself is strained under the weight of if you have this technology, roping kids into VR fucking for views seems like a dumb secret plot to have. I'm sure this organization has a much bigger plan or whatever, but its stretching credibility. I am interested to see where it goes, but I've had more than one moment where they bitch out the MC just to move the characters to a new plot point. I'm not asking to have the dude be a chad (which he's already written as), but give him some backbone. When the girls start talking shit he's allowed to tell them to STFU. The sex is good as are the models for most of the girls. The fact nothing changes if you turn down sex means having the options is kinda not needed. Also its another scenario of every girl on the planet wanting to fuck the MC before he even talks to them. Whats worse is the game warns you of NTR that isnt NTR. The debate rages on in the comments still and its annoying.

This game really surprised me. I was expecting the usual college game where you go to classes, meet women and try to bed them but this was so much darker and more interesting. It's hard to describe much more than that without giving away too much of the plot but even from the very opening there's hints all is not as it seems at VRU.

Just like the last review from 4.0, I want to point out that the game, while starting off really promising with variety of characters, illusion of choice and pretty solid visuals gets completely ruined in later chapters, especialy if you aren't going "I'm gonna fck them all" route. Don't waste your time and move on lads.

[v4.0] An otherwise promising game ruined by a lack of player choice. The setting is interesting, and the characters all have distinct personalities. The sandbox sections aren't great, but they aren't terrible either. They are easy to navigate due to the clearly marked paths, and there aren't many empty sections to waste time exploring. Character models are attractive, and there are several sex scenes in the game already. There are animations, but they are poorly done and they often do that annoying camera bobbing thing when they play. The one big problem is that we have very little control over the main character. The game starts off well, where we are given many choices to either accept someone's advances or reject them. But suddenly that isn't an option and the game will force you to fuck characters that you might not want or even ones that you have previously rejected before. This ruins the experience as a player, because now we have no reason to believe that our choices will matter. Things get even worse in the fourth chapter where you are given a choice where you really only have one option because the other choice will result in a game over. At this point, I'm tempted to take the game over because that's some serious bullshit. The two characters that I want to avoid the most are the two that are forced on us, and it looks like things aren't going to get any better now that one of those two has just been forced on us again.

v3.0 this game/VN gives me a 'cool runnings' met 'ready player one' at a college frat party, shared a drunken fumble, collapsed into a darkened bedroom and had a quick, albeit forgettably disappointing, romp that cool filmed on a whim, and a few years later a game developer stumbled into this unseen footage hidden under the loose floorboard of his/her new bedroom their family just moved into, vibe. inspired by the resultant product of such solicitous behaviour, hey presto. i know i know....a vivid imagination is both a gift and a curse i gave this 4 stars but i rounded up as 3 stars is just a little unjust. it has quite a lot of text errors, mainly spelling but a few missing words, and the art work regarding a punished girl is seriously overkill, uncomfortable viewing wise way beyond what is required to get the devs point across. otherwise it is a very good experience but in no way looking like a fantasy harem game as there is signs that your choice of girls will not all be exclusive to your MC. i take it for what it is not as i want it to be. if it does turn into something that no longer floats my boat then so be it. hence rating it now objectively in case it takes an unfavoured turn. the writing and premise are good and will keep most engaged. a real plus the art and animations are excellent. seen better but not by much. if not for that one scene, which speaks to a mind easily willing to pass right past bdsm into 'it's not a person it's a bit of meat' style of brutality, something very few will find enticing, then it would probably propel this to an easy 4 nudging 5 stars. entertaining and engaging, but i do get a sense this will turn a little dark. i can only hope it doesn't turn too far

Give a good review first, but don't know whether the author can stick to finish the work . The game features active wild girls and an introverted passive MC . It feels good to play at first, easy and easy, and the animation is clearly made with care , but the worry is whether this futuristic sci-fi genre will ever get made finish , in 2022 alone, at least 10 works in this genre were scrapped .

I got as far as the Calista in your room scene and seeing that she had basically been brutally tortured, I just closed the game. Between the unavoidable sex scenes and the ntr that the dev has said is coming the future and whatever the fuck happened to Calista(its not shown what happens her but she is bruised form head to toe in a very extreme way, it looks more like she was straight up tortured than this was BSDM) that was enough for me to peace out. I do think there is a decent story at the core of this but its clear its going to be way too extreme for my likes and its prolly gonna be unavoidable ntr to boot if it follows how sex scenes are implemented *edit.. there is still next to no agency for the mc in major decisions and i cant see this changing so i have to edit my score down to 1 star.

I'm surprised this game doesn't have more reviews! I really enjoy the concept and all of the characters. I do wish I had more choices in terms of what plays out with the girls (Calista and the Witch specifically) but I enjoyed it all!

Gameplay: Point and click, pick one of two choices Writing: Seems very good so far, no noticeable typos. Characters have personality. Big fan of the use of onomatopoeia. Art: Looks good, models have good shapes. Scenery and outfits are very well done. Audio: I’d say this is a good use of free use sound effects and music.
