Developer's description
Rein, who is a hero, and his wife Aria (34). The companions who journey with the hero for generations are granted various crests as a blessing from the gods. Spoiler Each crest activates its power when a certain condition is met, greatly aiding the hero. For example, the Crest of the War God activates when the bearer fights on the front lines alongside the hero. The Crest of the Fire God activates when its bearer forges the hero's weapons as a blacksmith. Two years prior to the Demon Lord's resurrection, the hero and the crest-bearers are chosen, and they spend two years tReining with their crests. Determined to defeat the Demon Lord, Rein rises to the challenge. Aria, his wife and childhood friend, is also fired up, determined to support Rein with everything she has. However, the crest that Aria received——— The Crest of the God of Pleasure. The condition to activate this crest is for Aria or her companions to commit acts of betrayal. Aria belongs to the Hallele Church, which upholds pure justice and indomitability. She is a devout follower who would never break its teachings, so for her, this crest seemed like the mark of a demon. However, if she doesn’t strengthen the crest and support Rein, they may not be able to defeat the Demon Lord. If that happens, humanity will face extinction. Suppressing her trembling, Aria smiles at the protagonist and says: "I...I'll do it. Because I want to protect this world where you exist."
