A New City, A New Life is an adult RPG sandbox from VillaStudios, built in Unity. Its animated visual style combines 2D presentation with 3DCG elements. The story follows a male protagonist as he adjusts to a small-town household after moving in with his stepmother’s recently divorced sister, who is raising two children. He must balance a busy home, build friendships in a close community, and find his own direction, while uncovering opportunities, dealing with surprises, and perhaps discovering romance.
The current v0.1 Beta is a demo rather than a finished release. It was released on November 24, 2024 for Windows, in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog describes starting maps, a first quest, every basic character, and an estimated 30 to 50 minutes of play.

Set in a small town, a young man finds himself starting over as he moves in with his stepmother's sister, a recently divorced woman raising two kids on her own. Adjusting to this new life, he must juggle the challenges of living in a bustling household, making friends in a tight-knit community, and carving out his own path. Along the way, he’ll uncover new opportunities, face unexpected challenges, and maybe even find a little romance in this fresh chapter of his life.
