A Night with Starfire

Reviewing this game feels weird, but I'll try and be objective. In a vacuum, this game is pretty good. It's short and doesn't have a lot of scenes, but what's there is pretty good. Not generally a fan of porn games having a "right" ending (I don't like referencing a guide in the middle of gameplay), but that's a personal preference. Now, the reason people are screaming at each other in the comments; this game uses assets from Gunsmoke Games' Something Unlimited game. At first this put me off entirely, but the creator posted it to the site themselves for free, making this more tolerate (thinking of it as a fan-game of a fan-game helps, and there's an entire thread dedicated to creating sprites in the style of Gunsmoke Games). Of course, there's also the fact that some people absolutely hate Gunsmoke Games for reasons (reasons that I find overblown/petty and won't get into), so the discussion that this game could be "better" then Something Unlimited... no. I'm hopeful this is the start of the creator's game-making, but they have not created something on par with one of the 2 best porn games on the site (the 2nd being Four Elements Trainer).

review for v1.0 super duper short fan-game , kinda boring , the fanart and the SU reused and edited art is cool but that's pretty much the only good part of it. good luck with ur next ones , i hope they get better. oh right forgot to say, cool idea to have a secret ending.

Neat, very short game, using assets from SU made by Gunsmoke games. The Dev made the game avilable, without hiding it behind a paywall, so the outcry about trying to make bank on already existing assets is moot in my eyes, compared to the game it is inspired by. Has some actual variety in Dialogue with different approaches, with different outcomes and a secret Ending. As well as some sound effects, which are all welcome changes. Looking forward to potential other games.

The idea is good, even making a "fangame" of a game that already exists and is still being broadcast is possible (the unfortunate copy of culture shock proves it), the problem is not that it is a copy, but that, literally, it reuses the same renders of the original, and even worse it tries to monetize this (at least the other one doesn't), my advice for the dev is simple: create your own resources and make your own stories, they can be inspired by another game , of course but with the dev's personal touch. Recommended only for a quick "relief", but no more than that.
