The world was destroyed five years ago. A mysterious fog had entered the world enveloping the world, save for one city. Since then, five years have passed and life moves on. One day, you have a dream that Ellie, a classmate of yours had jumped off of the roof of the school and that to save her, you must make a pact with an unknown entity. Will you discover the truth behind the fog?

v1.04 Minor alterations to the text that definitely don't have massive implications later down the line that no one will understand yet. Colors added to names! v1.03 Changed hear to her in Noel's intro dialogue. v1.02 Fixed two minor instances where notifications after scenes do not match up with underlying logic v1.01 Removed an unnecessary line of code for rpy monologues, apparently the linux version doesn't like a setting that works on Windows Fixed Anna refusing to call you by your given name and instead referring to you as MC. (But now that I think about it, it seems in character.) Added some missing character designations for who is talking. Removed Noel Roof unlocking before any scenes are available. Fixed some other minor typos and things. v1.00 Initial Release!

Well I already posted a review on itch but I guess should throw a few cents in here. So first of all if you are reading this then you probably don't care about the non-porn nature of the VN. So first of all i'll say that unlike most of the vns in this section - this one is neither a blatant fetish game or a hidden fetish one, so no worries.. This VN while aiming to explore the internal worlds of people manages to do so without disappearing up its own ass, be genuine without getting wrapped up in so much irony like most western vns trying to do the same thing, as first mentioned by someone who's name I forgot. Sorry about that man. And yet the Vn isn't completely dour as in there is humor. You could probably argue these if you read it yourself since stuff is subjective but i'll stand by it being genuine. Talking of subjective lets actually get into some facts of the story. It starts off with a dream, one that apparently reoccurs often. But this time it veers off into something else. Mc ends up meeting Altimea and her attendant mira who cryptically says that you can help them. Eventually the dreams end with you witnessing a girl throw herself off the roof of the school. Upon awakening Mc heads to school and finds out the girl called ellie got something called fog poisoned. And after a hospital visit th games opens up. Three eventually four options appear here with the first being main quest: climbing the dream world school. These event are mainly unlocked by playing the main girls events. The next two are dream girls and side girls. The main girls are Chloe the tanned tomboy childhood friend Jessie the aspiring author and writer who's seeming main problem is being antisocial Lauren the bubbly rich girl, trying to keep it together Noel the friend of ellie who will do anything including hurting people to help her friend. Maya the girl who lives with MC. She is very attached The girls have a kinda sorta harem thing going on if you like that. The visuals despite first appearances are Vdroid rather than koikatsu and scenes were created in unity so more effort was made than what you expect from a glance at the them The music is not the usual mix of VN and youtube tunes so no suddenly flashing back to a youtube video of a man (in his 30's at the time) eating cereal manufactured when he just hit elementary school or something. So yeah there was more effort than you would expect in that angle too. Judging by the itch and devlogs the dev is punctual and will fix any bugs and typos as soon as he has time, just ask. And before I forget again; the story is easy to read and follow so no worries in the aspect That's about it, anything you want to know and I missed just ask in the thread I'm asking this because I closed the review window just as I finished and had to remember what I wrote, and well I'm not sure of the result.
