Afterparty Nights

My first draft of this review was very mean. Let's see if I can tone it down on round two. Afterparty Nights appears to be the result of someone experimenting with AI and trying to make a quick buck. Okay, I tried. If a real person wrote this script, they definitely don't have much, if any writing experience. The characters have little in the way of thoughts, desires, or emotions. They aren't really doing or working towards anything. Events just happen to them or they decide they to do things without justifying or thinking about it. It's just the kind of scenes from a hat style of writing I've come to expect from AI writing and it's a tragedy to behold. I really HOPE this was written by an AI. If it's not? Uh... have you tried reading a book or watching a movie? Notice how characters do things based on their motivations. They have goals to work toward, people they'd like to impress, a life they'd like to be living. A story is made from the conflicts characters experience on the path to the things they want. This has none of that. As for the art, it's pretty rough even for AI. The characters are remarkably inconsistent even when compared to themselves in different images. Some of them are extremely cutesy anime style while others are a different sharper style. It can be particularly glaring when they're placed one immediately after another. There's also some truly egregious AI artifacting if you look at the images for longer than a second or two: twisted limbs, fingers where there shouldn't/can't be, broken spines, clothes that don't make sense, all of the usual suspects. The kind side of me suggests that you come up with a story you actually want to tell before making a game about it. If this is your story (god I fucking hope not), try answering some questions about the main character. Why is Ethan a photographer, what is he going to school for, how did he and Avery meet, what do they want to do with their lives, is their relationship serious, how long have they been together? Any one of this screed of questions can help introduce the characters and stage conflicts for them. Maybe being a photographer doesn't pay well, despite it being Ethan's dream so he needs to find ways to make ends meet. Maybe photography school(?) is expensive and he needs to find ways to pay for it. Maybe Ethan and Avery have very different views for their future. Maybe they just met recently and aren't sure how serious they are about one another. The mean side of me says pick an easier grift. I hear there's a massive website that accepts AI writing sight unseen. Go add to that clusterfuck for your passive income.

The strong point is the graphics, the character images, and their facial expressions. Then comes the bad part, sorry to say, I understand the demo, but the plot has already been spoiled, too obvious, I didn't understand if it's an NTS or NTR, there are no developer notes, it's too fast and it's too fast, you understand that MC will be a cuckold or worse and FMC is the usual plaything of other men. I'm giving it two stars now, if in the next updates there will be more action, more substance in the plot, and if I'm proven wrong, then I can change the rating to 5 stars. But now it's rated 1%.

ch3 v0.3.0 26 renders in total new for this chapter, 1 scene. No animations, just still renders. All avery of course, and she's cute. No lewd sounds, or voices, just music. I'll keep the rating the same. And why do dev's have only one choice options? You do pick nts in this update. ch2v0.2.0-Not much from this update maybe 3 mins? There's a dream and a small photo shoot. Still no animations. The girls do look great. But even with still renders there's not a lot of them per this update. That's even counting taking the other girl when asked which you want. I'll keep the rating the same for now. Lets see what the next update has to offer. v 0.1.0 First i'm surprised it's renpy and not another phone game lol. It has some nice ai renders. I think chloe is cuter then avery lol. Avery even though acts like she's innocent kinda look like a sl*t from the get go. Even acts like a slut. Here comes the cuck.....The pace is a a little fast. I don't play with sound so can't judge that. There are NO animations. Right now there is only one scene and it's vanilla in a dream. Only 3 stars because there's not much content here, only a few mins of play. I'll rate it as it updates. A good start, but nothing that sets it apart from the sea of avns right now. It's the typical ohh i feel jealous and excited....which leads to the cucking.
