About Anera The Demon Tower

Anera The Demon Tower is a finished fantasy RPGM game by Camaros, presented in 2D CG. You play Maya, a girl searching for her best friend Tabia, who has been captured and put up for auction in a city slave market. The goal is to raise enough money before the auction, either by fighting monsters or by taking on sex work, while exploring what it takes to free her. Alternative paths involve gaining adventurer status and using political routes to challenge the slave trade. Themes include fantasy, corruption, and monster encounters.

The final build is v1.31, released June 29, 2018, and the latest changelog entry is a May 21, 2023 update to the 1.31 final translation. It is complete and available for Windows in English, with censored adult content. That update points players to translator notes for details. Earlier fixes addressed an auction-date bug in the commercial area, added a true ending in 1.30, and corrected minor issues including appearance-related sex work scenes and added events.
