About Arcana Holdem
Arcana Holdem is a fantasy visual novel made with Ren'Py by Kiaru34, presented with 3D CG and animated visuals. You play as Jack, an ordinary man who is drawn into a strange magical world and tries to find a way back home. In this setting, conflicts are settled not only through combat or magic but through Arcana, a high-stakes card game based on Texas Hold’em. Jack challenges fighters, witches, mercenaries, and monsters through taverns, forests, cursed crypts, and courts, wagering gold, secrets, and alliances while exploring the realm, building relationships, and uncovering mysteries.
The current build is v0.1, an initial release, and development is ongoing. It was released on February 9, 2026 for Windows and Linux in English, without censorship. The v0.1 changelog lists the prologue as part of this first release.

But in this realm, power isn’t won by steel and magic alone. It is won at the card table. Across taverns, forests, cursed crypts, and royal courts, Jack will challenge warriors, witches, mercenaries, and monsters in the mystical card game Arcana - a high-stakes variant of Texas Hold’em where gold, secrets, and alliances are always on the line. Build relationships, explore the realm, uncover mysteries, and face dangerous adventures.
