AV Director LIFE!

Finished the game to the end with all scenes unlocked. Pros: Interesting premise, heroine is hot, side chicks are hot, scenes are great with good variety. Definitely did not get through the game in one session. Cons: Grind is real, new areas (with new scenes) can take almost an hour to get to which can be a slog. The 'movies' are saved on drive (a few GB at the end) but i don't think there's any real point going back to watch them when you can just start the scene again. Only the initial set of debts are difficult, once you get a few camera upgrades there is no difficulty anymore. The time slog is waiting 45s for each position to get max value. The final set of cameras unlock way too late, some scenes would have been so much better with the god cam.

Promising game, but too much of a grind. There is no option to speed up the pace of filming, which just wastes too much time. In the early game you'll see many unique actions, but later on they will just repeat with environmental changes. Also, this can be considered as UE5 slop. No optimization at all, mine 5070 was giving it all for 90 FPS and stutters occured in some scenes. Literally "enable everything UE5 has to offer and don't care about optimization", DLSS implementation is very poor for it to be used. Pros: Quite unique idea Variety of possible actions Cons: Very repetitive gameplay Poor optimization Video editing (you just make 20-40 sec videos, and then spam them into one videotape till you have space) Very slow paced

All in all, great game this is the first time writing feedback here since this game is underrated. 4/5 for me since it has many, many contents and awesome soundtracks. The downside is its slightly laggy even when you use it in dx11 and the game is kind of grindy, and the translation is off so it's like a hardcore early game. but still a great game. I'd just wish Nodoka has more dialogue and the side characters have voice over dialogues in their intimacy scenes.

An exquisite experience - from an expressive voice actress to the variety of the h-scenes that draws you back with its animated charm. It has its flaws: for gameplay (body part development, clothes clipping). Story depth is limited: debt drives tension, money eventually resolves it, and post-game lacks engagement. Developing your relationship with the cast was great, but you eventually max out events/messages. Progression in equipment and energy scales well and is rewarding to the player. It lends itself well for immersion of being an Adult Video Director, from adjusting the brightness/colors of lights to the angles of the camera and duration of clips. Then to actually edit those clips and sell onto the market based on trends. By interweaving the h-scenes as part of the core gameplay mechanic makes it stand out from other games. The amount of voiced h-scenes/positions/plays is what elevates it from forgettable into something remarkable. Give it a try. It is also Uncensored . ## Issues - Drive Space: Clips are recorded as-is so the data file size on your computer can grow unless you delete old clips. - Performance: This game may not be fully optimized, as for me it heavily used my 3080 Ti GPU and PC ran hot. - The translation / localization can be off. e.g., part development -> body part development; or non-Japanese actor cannot be sold -> can't sell illegal videos of other characters besides Nodoka's (Female Main Character FMC). For the most part, its mostly understandable in English and may need guesswork on some words such as that. - AI art is just for some things like a poster and card game, not really impactful. Updated with real art in a later patch. ### NTR? - NTR is avoidable if you choose not to engage in those mechanics, no real loss other than not playing some plays/scenes that include other actors besides you - There is a statistic in Nodoka's profile (how many other actors she's been with besides you) - BF adds to this statistic so you can do it once to access more scenes (particularly where you do the NTR and take her back from her BF) ## Scoring I'll score it on 5 categories, up to 10 points each. 1. Innovation & Longevity ## Gameplay 9/10 - Debt is the primary source of tension and challenge, money is the central mechanic to resolve debt. - The penalty of missing a debt payment is taking half of your current money - The fail-state is missing debt payments three times (Game Over) - The rules (for rating a video) can be unclear at first. - Could have been cleared up with a better English translation, e.g., "part development" really meant body part development. Or "non-Japanese actor cannot be sold" just meant you can only sell videos of the main heroine, no one else. - However, the rules are consistent, for example the play badges for judging a video from theme, location, and duration are easy to follow as they display badges during editing. - Engagement was great: You can really immerse yourself as the director, adjusting the brightness/colors of lighting, adjusting the camera angles in 3D, or deciding on the duration of the clips. - Editing the actual video is the part of the gameplay loop to gain more "play badges" essentially the variety of content, locations, themes, etc. Then adjusting it to match market trends to earn more money. Its quite creative and really does feel like you are an amateur to expert AV director. - There are also mini-games to break out of the main gameplay loop of recording. - Replay value is great, can change the outfit, angles, and timings for the scenes - As for balance, it was well-designed progression of energy system, recording equipment that scales well from the beginning with a low quality smartphone to late game high-end camera. - Clothes can clip during h-scenes - Optimal gameplay requires one to simply wait out during one position in the h-scenes to fully max out the body part development and then switch to another position for another body part. - You can check out the progress of part development in the bottom right during filming, as it maxes out when its red. - This can be sped up with the purchase of items in the store. Still, this may be the intention of the devs since players may be "busy" during the h-scenes ## Theme & Story 7/10 Theme is debt. The story is MC becomes an AV Director with FMC as actress to both pay off their debts. in what seems to be modern-day Japan. No deeper world building than that. - The stakes and tensions (debt) are always present as you have to pay it off every 5 days. - Through events and text messages you can really immerse yourself with developing a relationship with the characters ## Design & Presentation 10/10 - The game design that integrates and blends the adult scenes into the core gameplay really elevates the experience. - The anime-esque style visuals are seductive, enough for me to come back to - The UI is straightforward - there is a exhaustive tips/help system that has some quirks because of translation issues - Polished enough as almost all text, buttons, etc. were aligned and centered - What really sold it to me was the extremely apt casting of the voice actress, the FMC. The Nodoka's (FMC), voice actress had remarkable delivery and matched the character so well (college-girl) with enthusiasm and emotion - especially in those h-scenes from lovey-dovey to BDSM play. ## Player Experience 10/10 - Players would find this quite fun being an AV Director for well-designed FMC. I genuinely enjoyed myself as the scenes were tempting. - The mini-games are a good addition to break out of the main gameplay loop, but still be useful as it earns money. The variety is there from memory recall, clicker, to card games. Players may be divided on the mini-games. - In terms of satisfaction, players are rewarded well for their efforts. You can really sense your progression - from barely scraping by recording only 20 second clips to being able to record 40 second clips and any expensive location. The passive income you get from videos is quite rewarding. ## Innovation & Longevity 9/10 - Really surprised me that you actually can record and edit videos within the game. Points for creativity there. - As for depth, once you mastered the play badge video mechanics and passive income gain from videos it reaches a ceiling for mastery. - Still, for early to mid game was definitely tests the players skills their limited energy to recording videos, part-time jobs (mini-games), editing, market research and exploration (for item gathering and energy restore such as drinks). - Without a new-game plus mechanic, starting from scratch still allows the player to use their newfound foresight and prescience to finally beat the debt payments. Its quite satisfying doing so. - No post-game, once the debt is fully cleared and when your money gain is so high there isn't any more tension compelling the player to earning more. - Will players keep coming back? With a lack of post-game or DLC (hopefully with Yuna), the only factor keeping players back is the delicious h-scenes to replay.

Super shallow. Only being able to reliably engage with only one of the girls gets old pretty quickly. The English translation is atrocious and was clearly done using a very rudimentary LLM. The whole story barely even makes sense: Struggling boy meets attractive girl, randomly, who has a ton of debt and they decide to make porn together. Throw in some side characters and a ton of jibbrish that makes little sense and you have this game's plot. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't so much of it. As for the gameplay aspect: A ton of the systems in the game are way too easy to 'optimize' for with extremely little effort, leaving you with millions and millions of extra currency at the end of the story with little or nothing to buy for the majority of the game. You will just end up shooting the same 20/40 second clips over and over in different locations and combining 2 of them into a single 8+ minute video for nearly guaranteed 10-star ratings. Camera angles don't matter, lighting doesn't matter... literally nothing matters except that all 3 boxes indicating the girls model are on the screen when you film. Wall in the way? Doesn't matter. The whole database of video you take not being sortable by tags makes finding old one-off content to make compilation videos with good tag diversity take more take than just re-shooting more porn. The body part system is also extremely lame if you game it (basically just AFKing during positions as the XP meter ticks up) but punishes you with lower scores if you don't do it. As a pure gooner title it's decent and has a good amount of variety when it comes to the weird sexual content, but so much of it is walled off behind weird design choices and having to randomly figure how to open certain areas by talking to random NPCs, clicking random objects, etc. This thing also makes my PC into a space heater. It's very very poorly optimized.

Gameplay overall is perhaps 3.5-4 stars, but this game does something I really hate and really wish more game developers would learn to avoid... Playing "optimally" means wasting a ton of time. Yes, I know - "don't optimize the fun out of the game" and all that... But let me explain. When doing the shoots, the main heroine slowly gains "body part development" and "relations" with the MC, until certain cap per shoot. The former seems to slightly increase success of your AVs and thus revenue. The latter is more important since it unlocks more game options. There are other ways to increase both relations and body development, but AV shoots are the only repeatable thing you can do. The item shop has limited stock so you can't even just run job mini-games and buy the stat ups that way. So in essence, the "optimal" way to play is to end every shoot by leaving the game to run and do something else, occasionally checking if you need to change the action once you've finished developing one body part. I.e. the "optimal" way to play is to NOT play the game for extended periods of time. It wouldn't bother me as much if it was a small difference, but every other option I've found pales in comparison to just idling in the AV shoot... And again, you need relations to unlock more of those alternative options.

Very cool game. One of the best i play this year. The game is easier than you think, i barely touch the minigames and i was able to pay the debt each week. The pro: -A lot of scene that cover a lot of categories (you will find several for your taste) -Porn and gameplay are link The bad: -I was able to cook on top of my motherboard (bad opti). -Not enough costume. -Only one actress (the three other gal are bonus scene and since you are recording a tons of scene, i skip them). (only one lesbian scene) -the grind was ok until day 30. The game finish at day 70, the game need few more scene in the third part.

A Porn-Star game, where you get to shoot your own porn flicks with beauties. It is surprisingly detailed having to manage light positioning, camera angles and more to get the best shots and scenes and in the end you even have to edit everything to ultimately release it. The girls have actual personality and don't feel like sex doll bimbos, though the translation is a bit lacklustre. It is understandable but weird at some points.

I got a new pc and this is the game i remember i wanted to play one day and couldn't so here we are... It's a great game, has its flaws but overall has a really good quality which makes it really enjoyable. Only major downside is the grind, which isnt terrible since recording scenes, editing the videos and all of that is actually really well done, but it can get annoying sometimes. I recommend trying it at least for a couple hours, it's a solid 3.5/5, maybe more if you don't mind the grind like i did.

A game that is a classic tycoon style gooning experience, though the tycoon part is disappointingly on rails. Negatives: There is grinding in spending up to at least 7 minutes per video published recording your slutress in the different scenes. Only one girl actually works for you the others are earned scenes basically. You can't change how your slutress looks, besides different clothes, which The mechanic that grades your videos is just how many similar 'things' you include in the entire video published, and the grades of your slutress, but in my experience the overall star rank of yourself contributes more than half of the ratings you get. This rank just increases automatically with the passage of time, whether you pay off the debt or not. Positives: A surprising amount of depth to the video editing part of the game. You could really enjoy roleplaying a porno director if you really wanted, though making good edits is really not in the game mechanics.

An impressive attempt, they tried to connect you with the heroines. Have dates, sex and make a porn movie. The graphics are pleasing to the eye(especially the main heroines) even on the lowest settings. I am sure the game has lot more positions but it is sad to see how you can't have a heroine be a virgin and have anal only. The main problem of this game is the time-consuming grind, this game is slow, very slow. You will stick with the fastest mini game that you can easily ace just to gather up money so you can pay rent and your equipment. You can easily see how bad this is if it goes large scale. And it seems TeamKrama loves to make "long" games, but i wouldn't call this a long game, as more akin to filler. Over time as a long time gamer(15+ years), i came to a conclusion that games should really up their quality especially with what kind of tech and educational content there is in this era. I have played games of 90s and 2000s and those are,not were, are the peak gaming with very few exceptions outside of that. If you value your time, you will probably get a cheat save and skip all this pointless grind. What i said above is in relation to how many games today, even echi ones, have too much filler content with no reward whatsoever. Just endlessly grind, watch numbers go up, waste time to go from A to B with no shortcuts and pointless sex scenes that don't give closure or meaning. Exactly how shooters have become meaningless as even the killing has become boring, not because of our age but because it lost its charm. We also lost our charm and we better find it back because i am sure we still have it. This game? i do consider it, barely, into a worthwhile game, regardless if it is "hentai" or not. It does have traits that make it worthwhile or fitting to what the devs wanted; hence the game's title and gameplay. But brothers and sisters, don't make games that take all of our days just to get virtual bread crumbs of virtual progress. It was surprisingly interesting and caught me for four hours from the start. Even when the girls' design isn't what I like, I prefer slimmer and not so breasted girls, and the faces aren't really the best. But this game has the gameplay, it's not just a poser. On top of it, we have good voicing and the right use of AI-generated content.

The game seems to be an expanded version of Charm Song idol mode. The team KRAMA made more attractive girl faces instead of plastic doll faces in Seed of the Dead. The uncensored patches saved my day.

This game really surprised me, surpassing basically every expectation I had. While the goal of the game can be extremely hard to grasp, with the bad translation and unclear mechanics, once you get the hang of how to edit footage and what content to include in videos and whatnot it really takes off. The characters are a bit simple and repetitive but overall they're nice inclusions and the minigames are quite fun and engaging. Except the damn street one, running around after the streaker was terribly difficult lol. Honestly I'd recommend anyone give it a try if you want a porn game that really tries to be a game, its rough, 100% but the effort is appreciated.

Great game. It has TONS of content. I wish there was more Netori options, but oh well.. Animations are great, voice acting, lots of cute little details. The game is a bit grindy, so its best to enjoy with the money cheat. The rest is very playable. I wish there was even more content, i finished it all in.. 2 days... oh well. Beautiful game. From the same people behind seed of the dead. Game is decent but kinda grindy. And most of the minigames are dexterity based so if they are not your kinda thing you may not do well in those games. This is an NTR game, but the game seems to make light of the issue of cheatingl like it is a small matter. There are two characters that are cheating on their significant others and it doesn't seem like they have any reservations about cheating on their partners. Just like seed of the dead, the camera controls are clunky and can be somewhat frustrating. Unlike seed of the dead camera positioning is essential in this game. The 3d models are nice, seems like they are improving in each iteration of their games. They had came a long way since the first HOTD. My biggest issue is waiting for the progression bar to rise for the stats. They take an eternity fo max out each session during filming. Would have been nice if there was a fast forward button. Other than that game mechanics for the main game to be a director is kinda innovative.

I like the concept of the game and final effect. Nice animations and smooth gameplay. Some bugs appears but the devs are continuously working on them. Fun, user friendly and entertaining. It is my favourite game at the minute. So why you have a go and try it yourself.
