About Before the Ceremony

Before the Ceremony is an adult Ren'Py story game by Lust Hunter. It follows a young, happily married elven pair living quietly in a peaceful part of a techno-fantasy world. Their routine changes when Karl gets a surprising message from Bronn, a former ally and close friend. A simple reunion may lead to cheating, corruption, and teasing as the relationship shifts. The game uses 2D animated CG.

The current build is v0.4, released October 13, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows and Linux, in English, without censorship. The v0.4 update finishes Day 2 and advances the story into Day 3. It adds the morning and the opening of the next major section. Characters move faster, and Day 3 becomes more intense. It also adds a Text Box Opacity setting, letting players adjust dialogue box transparency in Preferences.

The story revolves around a young, happily married elven couple living a quiet life in a peaceful corner of a techno-fantasy world. Their peaceful routine is suddenly interrupted when Karl receives an unexpected letter from Bronn, his old comrade-in-arms and one of his closest friends. What starts as a simple reunion between old friends may turn into something neither of them could have expected...
