Between Lines: Re is an adult romance, kinetic novel, and simulator by Soren, made with Ren'Py and featuring 2D and AI-generated CG art. You play a male office worker whose routine of long hours at the company and little time at home has widened the distance between him and his wife, Mikae. After he tells coworker Ethan about a hidden desire to see her with another man, Ethan suggests talking to her, but events escalate. Released early by his boss Mayumi, he returns home and discovers Mikae with another man, Ryder.
The current build, Ch.Final Public, was released November 22, 2025, so development is finished. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Android in English and is uncensored. The latest update rewrites the story, reworks characters, adds new characters, gives alternate points of view, and revamps menu and interface with shortcuts and remastered visuals. It also adds Midori to Chapter 2, new real-life scenes outside the chat, a gallery, zoom effects on character images, and character redesigns.
