Chapter 10 - Stories Expansion This is an entirely free update which continues the story on the "Good/Harem" path. In addition to expanding on the story even further, this update serves to set up the possibility for an official sequel to the core game. This update is actually bigger than the initial Chapter 1 release of the game was! It adds ~400 new renders and animations. You can access the new story via the "Stories" section on the main menu. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) You must have completed the game on the Good + Harem route to unlock this. You should also have played the first story for the path. 2) The stories are done via a special module in the engine which does not allow for saving your game. This story is expected to take 30-60 minutes to complete, based on your reading speed. We highly recommend that you try to make sure you have sufficient time to get through it in a single sitting. Chapter 10 - end-game added content Today, we are adding some additional end-game content to Between Two Worlds. This additional content is not intended to be a true end point for the story. It is just further fleshing out the results of the endings. In fact, these stories may even leave you wanting even more! Each story will give you an additional ~15 minutes or so of content. In total, there's another 300+ renders, and a dozen new animations. And yes, for those who enjoy it, each story also has an additional sex scene. For continuity purposes, the stories are using two assumptions: 1) The player was on the harem route 2) All characters survived the end of the respective evil vs good routes In order to unlock the stories, you MUST finish the game on at least one of the routes. So, if you finish the game on the good route, you will unlock the good story. Same with the evil story. If you take the time to finish both routes, you'll unlock both stories. Once you do that, you will be able to find the new content via the main menu, under the new "Stories" option. In addition, this update fixes a handful of issues with translations and mechanics. Nothing that actually impacts game progression, just minor bugs that had been discovered and reported since release. Apple Silicon (M1) is now supported! Chapter 6 Chapter 6 change log: Full native translation for Brazilian Portuguese. Full native translation for Latin American Spanish. Full native translation for French. Partial native translation for Italian (Chapter 6 will be done and included, Chapters 1 - 5 will be patched in at a later date). Ability to name your save games so players can keep track of their paths and choices. You can enable/disable this in the Preferences menu. It is disabled by default. Gallery with unique renders for every scene in the game. Includes Chapters 1 & 2. Chapters 3 & 4 will come this weekend, with 5 & 6 coming next week. This will also eventually include animations from within the game! ~1,000 new renders. Over 30 new 60fps animations Average full game play time is now over 10 hours long Fixes: Started process of re-rendering images from early development so they are higher quality. This will be ongoing. Several grammatical fixes from early chapters. This will be ongoing. Chapter 5 If you actually take part in the game without skipping, you'll enjoy an average of 2.5 hours of additional play time. This brings the total up to ~8 hours across the 5 chapters. Chapter 5 has 1,100 new renders. This is literally 50% more than either Chapter 3 or 4. 33 new 60fps animations, and some of the best I've done. Though I admit to being biased. There's one animation that is nearly a full minute long! It terms of the actual reading, Chapter 5 contains roughly 40,000 words. C1 through C4 combined total was just shy of 100,000. That means C5 ALONE is about 40% the size of the entire game previously. Major forward movement in both the primary story, as well as the super lewd handholding that you perverts crave. Several corrections to both dialogue and renders from previous chapters that my beta team found upon further review. Multiple major decisions that will impact future content. The Steam version will be launching with 37 achievements baked into it. Thanks to one of my supporters and beta testers, ThL, in addition to mastergig30 and dedalo_69 , the game will be releasing with full translations already supported within the game for French, Latin-American Spanish, and Italian. Thanks to a new source for music licensing that actually permits usage in adult games, the music and sound effects have been updated considerably. No hate on Mr. MacLeod, but I'd rather use more unique music. This even includes several songs with full vocals that suit the situations! Chapter 4.2 Version 4.2 addresses a concern regarding potential nonconsensual activities. As the scene in question was not intended to be viewed that way, it has been modified to give the player a heads up about the content. The original scene has not been altered in any way, but the player now has the ability to skip it if they choose to. This has now been done in a way that is story friendly, and not jarring like the previous temporary fix did. Chapter 4 ~720 Renders 31 new 60fps Animations totaling nearly 15,000 unique frames ~90-120 minutes estimated play time for the chapter, ~5.5 hours average play time for the game New features: * Added dialogue box opacity slider. Now you can control the text box. * Added outlines to text to make it easier to read, regardless of text box opacity. * Created a quasi mini game. Make sure you pay attention to what the NPCs tell you. (Note: This is skippable, and there is no penalty for "failing" it. It's just a fun little bit of the story) Bug Fixes: * Fixed several images on Skylars swimsuit that were still showing incorrectly from Chapter 3 release. * Fixed several grammatical errors from previous Chapters. Chapter 3 ~650 Renders 26 Animations totaling over 13,000 unique frames ~90 minutes estimated play time, over 2 hours if playing both paths (Total time now over 4 hours) Split pathing has been introduced, and is determined based on choices made in Chapters 1 and 2. Android version now has gesture support, and a higher resolution font to make it easier on the eyes. Bug Fix: * Fixed several grammatical errors * Fixed Skylars swimsuit not displaying correctly based on player choice * Fixed a handful of graphical errors Chapter 2 ~500 Renders 24 Animations totaling over 10,000 unique frames ~90 minutes estimated play time, total time now about 2 and a half hours Fixed a few variable bugs found late from the Chapter 1 release.
