About Blood of the Dragon

Blood of the Dragon is a Ren'Py adult visual novel from Twin Axe Games, built around a male squire trying to prove himself. After defeating his mentor, his village is attacked, awakening a dormant power in his blood. He defends his home, then travels to the capital to learn where that power came from, an answer that may reshape the whole kingdom. The game uses animated 3D CG scenes, fantasy settings, harem relationships, and monster girl characters, with turn-based combat and an optional auto-battle system.

The current build is v0.4.2, released June 20, 2026 for Windows and Linux in English, with no censorship. Development remains ongoing. The latest update is marked as a release point in the changelog. Earlier updates added hundreds of renders, animations, music, sound effects, and option toggles for text size, background, and auto-battle. The v0.2.1 notes improved attribute distribution and auto-battle AI, fixed typos, and set the movie mixer to default to sound effects.

Developer's description

Yearning to prove yourself, you train to become a knight's squire. After finally besting your mentor, your village is attacked, unlocking a dormant power within your blood. After successfully defending your home, you travel to the capital to seek answers about your origin. An answer which will change the entire kingdom forever.
