v0.20 I'm finally back with a new Bloom War update. I had to rewrite a bunch of the old code in order to get rid of the map stuff, but it freed up some file space and now it should be a bit less tedious to get through those parts if you're trying to get to a new route. As for the content, it focuses on the MC shrink route where the MC get taken to school by Kammy or Jayne, so you'll need to make sure to tell Kammy to not grow when she's talking with Rebecca by the pool. v0.19 Notes: This update is a standalone update, meaning it only contains the new content from the previously updated route. v0.18 The new content for this update is in the growth route after you go to the cafe. I've also added a new feature to the gallery where you can click a locked imaged to get a hint as to how to unlock it. v0.17 For this update, I've started implementing sprites for the characters in order to try to limit the amount of work I need to do for each update. I think it's defiantly made it easier, and I think I can still optimize the process further. I ran into a couple issues when trying to translate things over to the new process, but I think I got everything figured out. But as always, let me know if you run into any errors. Also, due to using sprites and not full images for most of the scenes, the gallery feature won't really work as it is anymore, and hasn't been updated for this update. I will probably need to change hoe the feature works, and I've been thinking of doing more of a route map instead of a gallery in order to give players more information on how to get to the routes they haven't seen yet. I'll try to figure out the best way to do that for the next update. Also, since the gallery feature isn't updated, I will let you know which routes have been updated here. Shrink Route: Can now choose between Rias, Kammy, and Jayne to go with after shrinking. Rias' giantess growth route has been extended to feature a scene with Melody and Ariel. Kammy and Jayne now both have options to take MC with them to school. Note that the option to go to school with them is only available if they haven't grown too much. Going with Kammy can let the player make her grow again in MC's bedroom, or go somewhere with MC. (Casino or school) Kammy can take MC with her to the casino where she will meet Roxane, Wendy, and Natalie, as well as Sarah. A game of roulette will decide who MC goes with., setting up routes for the other characters there. Only Kammy's route there goes beyond that. If MC never told Jayne to bring swimsuits to school, causing Sarah to owe Kammy a favor, Sarah will join Kammy in her route at the casino. Growth Route: Continues from the last scene with Madison. Rebecca brings MC, Norah, and Allison back to the cafe to get started on her plan to make MC huge. Normal Route: Added a new option to the futa only version scene with Sarah and Kammy after Kammy takes Sarah's size. v0.16 For this update, the new content is for the MC normal route, focusing on Sarah. The new content takes place after Sarah wins the dodgeball game, or if MC wins and chooses to hang out with Sarah. Also, the content available will depend on whether or not Jayne and Kammy brought swimsuits to school and whether or not Jayne and Kammy are small enough to attend school. Also, the content in the update would change based on if you chose to let Kammy grow or not. If you chose to let Kammy grow them, she and Jayne won't be present at the school. Well, suprisingly enough I actually had a bit of fun playing through this game. I say surprisingly because things like body transformation, sizeplay and ridiculous proportions (and I do mean ridiculous, holy hell..) which also includes inflation to the point of a character simply turning into a balloon, are some of my most disliked kinks. To me there's nothing sexy about boobs so big they cover the entire body and then some, so seeing as even I had fun playing this I'd say people who are into that sort of thing should definitely try this game out. (I'm also not going to let this influence my rating of the game as it's of course purely subjective. My rating is based solely on what I think of its quality as a game, nothing more.) A couple of things did bother me though, which became more and more of an issue as the game progressed. 1. Nearly every single sex scene after a certain point in this game comes down to "Fuck-> Cum-> Inflate-> Grow", all in the span of like 5 clicks. They are incredibly short and are all pretty much the same with the only difference being which body part is going to grow and which character you're doing it with. The game started of rather nice with a few simple scenes where we're given the choice of what to do after a fun little scene leading up to it (like the videogame bet with Kammy or the fountain scene with Allison), but it seems the developer gave up on that idea rather quickly because for the remainder of the game they basically decided to just bombard us with the same uninspired scene over and over and over again, with even the dialogue (what little there is, at least) being extremely similar. 2. The "middle" part of the game takes way too long and feels incredibly messy. There's a point in the story where the plot and all the characters kind of come together and it all starts falling into place a bit more. However, this has been very poorly executed and that part of the game is basically just a mess of black screens saying "in the meantime", "meanwhile", "on the outskirts of town", "a short while later" all the while it's just flailing the player around between different characters. I get what they were trying to do with this, but as I said it's just poorly executed and the pacing of the game just feels off during all this. Hell at some point I was getting worried if the devs still remembered this game actually has a main protagonist. Luckily it doesn't stay like this the rest of the game, as at some point we do go back to mainly viewing things from the MC's perspective. Regardless, that part of the game felt quite messy to me and is overall just a decent chunk of the game without any sort of player interaction. 3. The futaXfuta path of the game feels a bit lackluster, like it was slapped on just for the sake of having it. Besides a few of the earlier scenes, the game basically forgets that characters besides the MC have a penis when it comes to sex scenes. They acknowledge the many penises, sure, but they're rarely ever used when the MC is involved. I guess this comes back to the issue of the majority of sex scenes in this game being largely uninspired and similar to each other. I get that this game is all about the MC making the other characters grow, but it would be nice to get some variation like for example, the occasional scene where the MC can give a simple blowjob to Jayne or Allison (or whoever's penis still fits in a mouth at this point, I guess..). 4. Too many paths... Normally I'm all for having a bunch of paths in this type of game, but I feel like the developer may have misjudged how difficult it will be to maintain all the different branches, especially with us now being able to choose between a small, regular and tall MC on top of all the choices of which body parts we want to grow on other characters. Maybe the devs will prove me wrong or maybe they'll get some of the paths to converge again at some point, but I really do feel like having this many branching paths is not going to do any favors for the overall quality of each separate path and their respective scenes, which are quite repetitive half the time anyway, as I've mentioned before. Overall not a bad game, I had some fun with it. But I feel like it could be a lot better if the above issues were to be improved upon. 3/5 stars

Bloom War is definitely one of the crazier and out there games I've come across. Don't get me wrong, futa is great and all but the game pushes some fetishes to the limits and for the most part, done right and properly. Reviewing as of v0.16 Pros: You can select either futaxfuta, futaxfemale or femalexfuta which is great for those with different preferences There is a gallery built in Scenes are pretty good Many girls to get scenes for Story is cool, it's about countries going to war over futa girls 4-5 hours of gameplay (if you read the story and follow along) Cons: The BGM makes me want to go insane please change it or get more BGM tracks Not a fan of vore/unbirth, but just personal preference Some scenes are clunky, animations need a bit of work When there's "free time", I wish there were more options Conclusion: For the futa lovers out there, give this one a shot. A good amount of content so far with a wide variety of fetishes to enjoy. You gotta get over a few wild kinks like vore but if you enjoy that stuff, play this 100%.

It is fairly basic Ren'Py visual novel, but if you are into futanari, giantess, and especially expansion/inflation content, please give it a chance. It has shockingly decent plot and the NSFW content is even better, and there are even some wholesome moments. For early access beta, it has a lot of content. There are a lot of branching paths to explore, and some animated H-Scenes. Admittedly some writing could be better, but it is a one person project in early access, so I will excuse it. Please give Bloom War some of your time if you are into at least some of the tags! I promise it is worth it.

Give a chance to this game! the game covers a lot of fetish and some of them you can choose (like futa is optional) and besides the dev is realy putting good effort in the development. Gameplay got a nice amount of hours so far and history is pretty much average, H-Scenes are pretty good.

I wasn't initially gonna make a review, but the last review before mine pissed me off, what is so wrong about wanting non stop porn in a porn game ? We know what we're playing for, I'm not expecting Dostoevski levels of writing in my porn game nor would I want to, you want to beat your soft meat for hours ? Nah, I'd rather beat my hard meat for hours. But let me get into why this game deserves a 5 star rating besides my personal preferences. The game has originality, that is a new concept with a fairly extraordinary kink that I don't really partake in, but find how the creator did it, hot. Also the game gives you a choice in what you want to "inflate" or enlargen. The sex scenes are pretty smooth and the character design is good. Just don't expect a Shakespear story or characters.

Not a lot of love went into this game. There is 0 pacing, just porn here, and porn there. The character models are your basic koikatsu models and seem like they were each made in the span of 5 minutes. The only thing this game has going for it is the obscure fetish stuff, but it's way too poorly executed for my taste. Hopefully, the Dev will learn a lot from this game, and his next one will be better.

I have played both the initial release and the first update to this game V0.2 and I have to say it is a decent blend of fetishes(GTS, BE,etc) if you have the taste for it but with it being such early days all it has currently is potential. I do hope that it lives up to that potential

At the time of writing, the game is on version 0.1, and is more of a proof of concept than a full visual novel. The only reason I do not give this game 5 stars off the bat is the length. It currently has 3 modes, where you can change the gender of the player and others (M/F, Futa/F, and All Futa respectively), which has me worried about file size and keeping the story the same across the 3 version. The creator elaborates on how the plan to tackle this in post 44 of the thread, which is assuring. With those worries aside, this has the prospects of exploring some very niche fetishes (hyper sizes, futa, giantess, etc.). I will be watching this game with great interest.
